literary event of its kind. Once again, the Florida Writers Association
will be present. FWA authors may display their books by

VOLUNTEER DEVELOPMENT COORDINATOR NAMED. Marilyn Donnellan is helping FWA develop and implement policies and procedures to enhance recruitment, training and recognition of volunteers.
More than 25 years ago, Marilyn left a journalism career and served a series of progressively larger United Way organizations. In 2000 she started her own nonprofit consulting firm, Nonprofit Management Services. She is a nationally known consultant, trainer and speaker. with expertises in disaster planning, board development, organizational assessments, strategic planning, volunteer development and community collaboration. Welcome, Marilyn! We're so glad you're on board!

WRITERS GROUP MEETINGS
June 25: Regional Director Vic DeGenti will be presenting a workshop on "Making A Scene" for members of the Lady Lake group.
June 27: The New Port Richey/Pasco County group is having a picnic in the park.
July 9: FWA founder and author Vicki Taylor will facilitate a dialog workshop for the St. Petersburg Writers Group.
July 13: Melbourne Writers Group's
very own Shara Smock will present, "How to Hook Your
Reader." Email your best story opening to Shara and she'll weave the best ones into the presentation.
