Quiz Show, hosted by Rabbi Sapadin
In 1958 television quiz shows were all the rage, and Charles Van Doren was the popular champion of a TV show called "Twenty-One." A genuine celebrity who appeared on the covers of "Time" and "Life", Van Doren was a real American hero. He successfully answered question after question, week after week. When bitter contestant Herbie Stempel charged that the entire operation was a fraud, the show and its star began to unravel. The accusations, and ultimately the truth, sent shock waves throughout America.
