My son Gregory is 6 years old. In 2006 he was diagnosed with Autisum Spectrum Disorder (ASD). At first my wife and I were in the dark about what to do. But having married a Spartan, my wife Demetra got the ball rolling very fast.
Gregory was 2.5 when the diagnosis took place and that's when our lifetime battle for him began. As Demetra did her research we were moving from Toronto to Durham Region. When she searched for Gregory's diagnosis in Durham it led us to Grandview Children's Centre and ever since then (2007) Grandview has been a big part of our lives. Read More |

 On November 29th, 2010, the Family Support Services team facilitated an event at the Oshawa Grandview site to encourage the young adult population of Grandview to continue to connect with community resources as they transitioned out of our services. CAW Local 222 members presented the Foundation with a $5000 donation pledging their support towards the Foundation's newly launched 'Help Our Kids' campaign.
Pickering Mayor's Gala 'An Arabian Night'. This year, Mayor Dave Ryan was pleased to announce that $25,000 of the funds raised went to Grandview Children's Foundation to help with funding for special programs, therapy services and equipment.
