Hi! My name is Michael and I am a 10 year daredevil.
You may have seen me speeding around Grandview with my walker or running around near my house in Ajax. When I was 1, I was diagnosed with Cerebral Palsy and a profound hearing loss. But that hasn't stopped me from being active and having fun.
Grandview Children's Centre has helped me get the equipment I need to be as independent as possible. I got my first walker when I was about 2 and have gone through a few since then. I love walking super fast and having people tell me to slow down! Sometimes even my brother and sister can't catch me! My therapists sometimes worry that I am going too fast but I am pretty careful. Grandview will be holding a Christmas Skate on Saturday December 4, at the Legends Centre, 1661 Harmony Road North, Oshawa from 10:45 a.m. - 12:30 p.m. Santa will be making a special guest appearance for pictures and a pizza party. Skating will be from 11 a.m. - 11:50 a.m. The Christmas Skate is funded by Grandview Children's Foundation through the generous support of the Oshawa Rotary Club. Read More

| Help Our Kids Campaign Launched! You Can Give Them Hope... |

Grandview Children's Foundation is excited to announce the launch of the 'Help Our Kids' campaign! With over 1,000 children with disabilities and special needs on Grandview Children's Centre's wait lists to recieve outpatient rehabilitation treatment; Grandview Children's Centre has asked the Foundation to raise funds to help provide critical therapy services for Durham Region children.
On October 28 we invited friends, supporters and families to join us at our Oshawa and Ajax facilities for a community awareness launch of the 'Help Our Kids' campaign.
