I was recently asked a very interesting question: "In your work, do you have the same message for younger people as you do for more mature individuals?" Yes. Although my approach may be different. When I work with clients, I customize everything I do to fit the needs of the person or the business. Much depends on the circumstances, situation and reason(s) we are working together. But the underlying message is always the same. It's important to treat people with respect and courtesy. Including yourself. No matter what you do, who you are, how busy your schedule, or even your age, showing regard for others is a positive attribute. It comes across in person, close up and at a distance ... on the telephone, in meetings, at the athletic club, the restaurant ... wherever you may be, and whenever you are interacting with others. It also makes you feel good. |
