Baptists have had a long tradition in their fight for freedom and justice, and in particular, in the cause for religious liberty. A majority of the world's population continues to experience significant restrictions in religious beliefs and practices. A feature article on the BWA website, Religious freedom for all, encourages Baptists to reevaluate our historical stance on the behalf of religious liberty.
Human Rights Day
Churches are encouraged to observe BWA Human Rights Day during worship service on Saturday, December 10, or Sunday, December 11. Information and worship resources are available on the BWA website.

Ambassador to speak at Window on the World Banquet
The BWA Window on the World Banquet will be held March 3, 2012, at the Sheraton National Hotel in Arlington, Virginia, in the United States.
