We Should Not Be At All Surprised
For I do not want you to be unaware, brethren, that our fathers were all under the cloud and all passed through the sea; and all were baptized into Moses in the cloud and in the sea; and all ate the same spiritual food; and all drank the same spiritual drink, for they were drinking from a spiritual rock which followed them; and the rock was Christ. Nevertheless, with most of them God was not well-pleased; for they were laid low in the wilderness. Now these things happened as examples for us, so that we would not crave evil things as they also craved. - 1 Corinthians 10:1-6

Falling Away Alert!
|
Moriel and Jacob Prasch have warned for years that those who stray from and ignore the pure doctrine of the word of God are bound to repeat the errors and sins of the past. Examples are laid out for us in Scripture and as warnings to, Israel, Judah, and that which is replete throughout church history. Here is yet another example where ignoring the warnings of Scripture and those of others in the body has led to another church leader falling into immorality. The point is not to "gloat" or say "I told you so", but in all sadness say, "we should not at all be surprised," as the Scriptures forewarn us. Let us all take this to heart. May the Lord bless and keep you, Scott Brisk

Another 'Christian' Leader Falls
We Should Not Be At All Surprised
| MORIEL MINISTRIES - By James Jacob Prasch - September 27, 2012 Mark Stibbe, the UK proponent of Todd Bentley and every other deception based on neo-Gnostic mysticism and heresy, has been publicly reported to have abandoned his wife and children after promoting Todd Bentley who did the same. Stibbe had been leader of St. Andrews Chorleywood in the UK from where he and David Pytches promoted the Toronto counterfeit and the Kansas City false prophets including the homosexual alcoholic Paul Cain and sexual predator Bob Jones. After promoting Todd Bentley, Stibbe left St. Andrews to head a trust that supposedly is established to combat the problem of fatherless children. Ironically, but not surprisingly, in imitation of his hero Todd Bentley - Mr. Stibbe has gone into the enterprise of promulgating the problem. We should not be surprised. The only thing of Christ that I have ever seen come out of St. Andrews are the godly believers who left it and its sister mental asylum Holy Trinity Brompton in utter disgust in response to the command of Christ in Revelation 18:4. Now, the American neo-Gnostic and emergent church guru Brian McLaren who partnered with Rick Warren to forward and promote the book "The Emergent Church" by Dan Kimball has performed the same sex marriage ceremony for his homosexual son in Washington D.C. in the name of his Emergent Evangelicalism. According to Romans 1, both father and son are destined for eternal damnation unless they repent. But as with Mark Stibbe, when we observe the actions of Brian McLaren - once again, we should not be surprised.

FHT announcement
Mark Stibbe Steps Down As the Leader of Father's House Trust
| Last Thursday Mark Stibbe stepped down as the Leader of the Father's House Trust (FHT) by mutual agreement with the leadership. Mark has made a decision to enter into an inappropriate relationship with someone other than his wife. Mark recognised that this made his position at FHT untenable, and his actions are ones that the leadership could never condone. ... Finally, Mark's actions have created a significant and immediate financial challenge for Alie and their four children. I am glad to let you know that a Compassion Fund has been established which will be administered by the family's home church in Watford, Watford Community Church. Details of how you can contribute to the Fund are below.
With every blessing, Steve Cardell Chairman, FHT

Brian McLaren Leads Commitment Ceremony At Son's Same-Sex Wedding
|
CHRISTIANITY TODAY [CTI Publications] - By Melissa Steffan - September 24, 2012
Brian McLaren, author of A New Kind of Christian and a prominent Christian speaker, led a non-traditional marriage commitment ceremony this weekend, according to The New York Times. Held at the Audubon Naturalist Society in Chevy Chase, Maryland, this ceremony included "traditional Christian elements," but no bride. And the groom-one of them-was McLaren's son, Trevor McLaren. The Times reports that Trevor McLaren wed Owen Ryan Saturday in Washington, D.C., followed by the afternoon commitment ceremony. Brian McLaren, who formerly was chair of the board for Sojourners, is among a minority of evangelical progressives who advocate that the church should abandon heterosexism and move toward reconciliation with homosexuals. ...
