Why is the this button bursting through the side of our newsletter?!
Well, a number of you have asked us to come up with a way to get in touch with Dave Riveness (our founder and CEO) directly.
With that in mind, Dave instructed us to place a button in the newsletter that, when pressed, gives you direct access to him.
So go on, press it and tell Dave what's on your mind.

A number of you congratulated us on our successful partnership with JetBlue Airways mentioned in the last newsletter. Thanks for the kudos!
We are certainly interested in having the same kind of impact in your organization. We know our keynote workshops are fun, relevant and applicable - and the learning from them is retained by participants.
In fact, 100% percent of the JetBlue participants who responded to an internal survey six months after our session answered with some level of "agree" to the statement "I have been able to apply the knowledge and skills learned during the event to my job".
As word of mouth is the best kind of marketing we would ask you to introduce us to those who make decisions about training and conferences held by your organization. (If that person is you, let's chat soon!)
As part of that introduction we would be happy to send them a complimentary copy of "The Secret Life of the Corporate Jester" (and you can take credit for getting them a free book)! For more info please contact us. |

The ability to retain information, recall it and act on it can be a critical part of Jestership.
We recently were invited to beta test a piece of piece of software called Salesworks. The program, designed as Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software, has been adopted by Corporate Jester to keep track of information critical to the maintenance of all our relationships - both business and personal.
With it, we certainly come across as organized and professional, but we also have increased our ability to retain and react to the bits of information people find important - birthdays, children's names, offhand comments made during previous conversations, historical trends, etc.
Salesworks is now available to the public as CRMbrella and we still think it is great. If you are like us, needing a great system to keep all the Jester information you uncover organized, give it a look. To get a 30-day free trail of CRMbrella, click here.
Note: Corporate Jester has no affiliation with CRMbrella and will receive no compensation if you choose to try or purchase it. We just like it. |

You may have already heard about Corporate Jester's new venture. Teaming up with wonderful colleagues, we have founded the San Miguel Leadership Institute (SMLI).
The mission of the SMLI is to create and host unique learning environments as forums for the exploration of intriguing and timely topics for organizational leaders. Out of this exploration participants will uncover knowledge, insight and awareness that can be directly applied to their business and personal lives.
As you read in our last newsletter, according to a recent workforce study, employees do not believe their organizations or their senior management are doing enough to help them become fully engaged and contribute to their companies success.
With that top of mind, the first SMLI forum is entitled Achieving Organizational Engagement: Recognizing, Creating and Rewarding and is scheduled to be held August 8-10 in San Miguel de Allende, Mexico. We would like you to consider joining us!

Although our entire website is scheduled for a complete update later this year (stay tuned for a sneak preview!) we are starting to make some small format changes we would like feedback on.
Firstly, we have added a new area to share client feedback and comments. We invite you to click here to see the new reference page - you might be quoted on it already! In addition, if you have a comment you are willing to share about the book or a Corporate Jester keynote we would love to hear from you!
Secondly, we have revamped the Jester's Bookshelf! Many of you asked us to make it easier to use and more visually pleasing, so we partnered with Amazon to create specialized recommendation carousels by category. We think the new format is pretty neat! Try it out and let us know if you like it. If you do, we will continue to expand it adding more books and catagories. Click here to give it a try. |

Corporate Jester loves to keep up to date with what is happening in the wider business world. Combine that with the fact that we are voracious readers and you could probably guess we already subscribe to a lot of business magazines. However, we just added another.
Conde Nast Portfolio is a new business monthly (about a year old) we recently started reading. Although it has received somewhat mixed reviews we generally like it. You can get a sense of the magazine's focus by visiting their website - just click here.
If you end up interested in Portfolio the best deal we found was on Amazon - a year costs $12 (2 years $20). In fact, at the moment, it seems they are adding an extra $3 off if you subscribe before the end of May!
We think $9 is a pretty great bargain so hurry up and click here to be taken to the magazine's Amazon page if you want to check out the deal. Enjoy!
One quick request from the editorial team. Each month we try to put together a newsletter that is fun, informative and has a little something for everyone. How are we doing?
Could you take a moment to drop us a line to tell us what you have enjoyed most in past editions? What would you like to see more of? We want to continue to bring you a newsletter you look forward to opening each month!
Thanks for being a part of Corporate Jester.
Sincerely,
The Newsletter Team Corporate Jester
