Greetings!
Welcome to the June Newsletter.
How are you coping these days when the energy is bursting and more and more of it is being poured on to Earth.
Do you feel like you are cleaning out a LOT of old stuff? Physically, mentally, emotionally? We're in the eclipse "tunnel" between Sunday May 20 and the full moon and eclipse on June 4. It's like a birth canal. Just keep breathing and shedding the old. And allow the new to be received.
We started the month of May with a Full Moon on the Wesak Day which was the communion of the Buddha and Christ energy. We were bathed in the Light of Love & Wisdom epitomised by the Masters of the Ceremony of the Day.
This was surely in preparation for what was waiting to emerge in the coming days.
May 20th was the most incredible New Moon Solar Eclipse which positioned the Earth/Moon/Sun directly with our Milky Way galactic core and the central star Alcyone in the Pleiadian Star System.
The remarkable astronomical transits of May continue into the month of June with the historic Venus Transit (6th June) across the face of the Sun. This will be preceded by a Lunar Eclipse (4th June). The partially eclipsed Full Moon forms a mutable T-square involving the Sun, Venus and Mars giving great opportunity to heal gender issues and relationships of every type.
This is explained in more detail in the Featured Article.
In the Loving Babies section, i have shared a wonderful article on What to reject when you're expecting!
In the photos section, Do check out the paintings of the Guardian Angels drawn by the workshop participants.
Hope the Loving Affirmations are helping you heal. Please feel free to write to me if you need assistance in creating affirmations and Prayers for yourself and your loved ones.

The Dance of the Venus
We are all on the Road to 2012, whether we know it or not or believe in the Mayan prophecies or not. As we approach the 2012 Portal of Light and as we align with the Galactic Center, we are being brought fully into the Multi-Dimensional Energies of the New Earth, and the New Structures that will guide the Earth in her next cycle of Evolution are emerging.
There are numerous significant dates and portals in 2012 and As the Earth prepares for these deep and exciting changes, there will also be some energetic alignments in May (already done) and June that will assist the Earth to prepare for the grand alignment and connection that is taking place this year.
On the 20th of May there was an annular Solar Eclipse, in which the Light Codes for Connection were transmitted to the Earth, allowing for many to awaken to their connections with the Central Sun and to her role in the Evolution and Development of the Earth within the Galaxy and the Solar System.
This Solar Eclipse was at the time of the New Moon highlighting the Spiritual Connection with the Galactic and Cosmic energies and the unification of polarities into Unity, which is the "theme" of the Great Shift at this time. This New Moon eclipse set into greater momentum a new expression of a unified masculine-feminine power that is fully aligned with the Divine Will and Love-Wisdom aspect
Immediately before the Venus transit occurs, we will experience a super full moon lunar eclipse on June 4. Although it is a partial lunar eclipse, it is also a super full moon. It is last of three super moons in a row.
The lunar eclipse occurs in Sagittarius, the sign archetype that correlates to all things speculative and foreign, and to higher mind, higher education, philosophies, beliefs, religions, spirituality, and indigenous peoples. Sagittarius also correlates to envisioning, beliefs, natural law, Gaia, and the search for truth. When the Sagittarius/Gemini polarity is activated by such dynamic transits, it is a time to address the dichotomy between what is apparent (the talk, the advertising) and the reality. Sagittarius correlates to the future; Gemini correlates to the present. Yes, the message reads: the future is here and it is now.

Then, on the 6th of June we will experience the Historic Venus Transit, or the second Venus Transit that connects with the first Transit in 2004. This is a rare celestial phenomenon!
During this period, we are potentially experiencing the most powerful surge of transforming energy in known history as a quantum galactic gateway opens to unleash higher-dimensional energy triggering a greatly accelerated shift of consciousness. Our expanded human and planetary design is being alchemically reconstructed by these incoming light encoded frequencies which are anchoring the foundational overlays of multi-dimensional templating within the physical plane, ushering in the next stage of DNA activation and energy blueprint configuration.
These back-to-back eclipses leading into the Venus transit and culminating into a Solstice (21 June) sun will have powerful influence on the entire planetary grid system and energy hologram to enable the energy template of Divine Love and Unity to anchor more firmly into the upshifting collective consciousness grid.
The exact date of the Venus transit is June 5 or 6 - depending on where you are in the world - but energetic effects can be felt even now. On June 5 or 6, 2012, Venus will cross the face of the sun. This planetary alignment is called an occultation. It is similar to an eclipse, but Venus will not totally block our view, rather, she will appear like a dot crossing over the face of the sun. Although Venus and Sun meet up every couple of years, we have only witnessed this event six times in recent human history.
The astronomical dance between Sun, Venus and Earth operates on a cycle of 243 years. Within the primary Venus transit cycle is a sub-cycle marked by two alignments of the three bodies spread 8 years apart with lengthy gaps between each pair. The longer time interval between each pair of closer transits and the next pair occurs in repeating order: 121.5 years, 105.5 years, 121.5 years, 105.5 years etc.. The last Venus transit, which was the first of a close pair, occurred on June 8, 2004; the prior pair occurred Dec. 9, 1874, and Dec. 6, 1882. Following the Venus transit on June 5/6, 2012, we will not witness another pair of transits until Dec 10/11, 2117 and Dec 26, 2125.
Over an eight year period, the retrograde cycles of Venus around the sun forms the shape of the pentagram, the five pointed star. The measurement between each retrograde peak is a 72 degree mathematical aspect called the Quintile. To astrologers, the quintile's influence is one of creative transformation, which is exactly the meaning that has been projected onto December 21, 2012, the end of the Mayan Calendar. Click here to see how the pentagram is formed
What implication does this transit have on our lives?
The time of the historic Venus transit holds a pivotal energy that can help humanity shift into the higher vibrations of love. As the blended radiations of the Sun and Venus make their way into the Earth's electromagnetic field, it weaves the energies of illuminating love and unity into mass consciousness. This is a profound catapulting force and opportunity for mass healing, transformation and the integration of gender polarities.
Venus is the Roman name for the Greek Aphrodite, goddess of love. From an energetic perspective, Venus is associated with love, beauty, and connection. When harmonious, it relates to positive qualities like creativity, receptivity, openness, intuition, connection with nature, and honoring the divine in all. Venus transits bring to the surface an imbalance in how the feminine is expressed, helping to catalyze a return to the divine feminine naturally housed within each person.
As the planet of Love crosses over the Sun, she will illuminate to those of us on Earth how we have been unloving towards ourselves through our past choices as the lesson of Venus is to learn self love until that is all we vibrate so that is what we are able to give to others & to equally attract.
This Earth/Venus/Sun alignment has been suggested to symbolize the re-activation of the Solar Feminine. It suggests the energizing of the feminine creator in her one-ness or all-ness. The solarised feminine creator is all encompassing. Just as woman gives birth to both genders, the rise of the solar feminine creator suggests a rebirth of the consciousness of our whole selves. Together in unison, yin and yang are transitioning into a major realignment chapter. True androgyny is the highest state of spiritual evolution.
On June 5/6 2012, there will be a significant energy surge transmitted between our creator consciousness and instinctual desires.
What is significant about this year - and the Venus transit in particular - is the opportunity we have to utilize the unique and beneficial catalysts for our own spiritual advancement. The cycles of expansive energies will occur even without our conscious knowing. When we become aware of our existence and consciously participate in them, however, we open ourselves to abundant spiritual openings and a letting go of old baggage now ready to dissolve.
This allows us to become freer and more able to fully participate as a divine changemaker. That is, after all, why we came.
The days leading up to this Venus Transit, June 4-6, is a time for opening to the bright impulse of cosmic energy that is streaming into the mass consciousness of Humanity.
What are our highest dreams and hopes?
What is our greatest potential as divinely inspired humans?
What can we create together as we step into the "doorway" to the Golden Age?
While we can be sure the Venus transit will deliver our
destiny to us, it's a good idea to keep our channel as clear as we can. All transmissions to the universe carry more potent impact now. Set deliberate intention. Stay conscious and focused. What do we want for ourselves? AFFIRM it. The rise of the solar feminine offers us an exceptional opportunity to bear witness to our creative potential, to demonstrate ourselves as the divine co-creator we are and have always been.

Loving Babies
Child Birth Classes for Gentle Birthing For the Mother-To-Be and her Birthing Companion
HypnoBirthing® is as much a philosophy of birth as it is a technique for achieving a satisfying, relaxing, and stress-free method of birthing.
As a birthing method, HypnoBirthing® is as new as tomorrow and as old as ancient times. It is presented in a series of five, 2 1/2-hour classes. Through these classes, healthy, low-risk women, as well as women who need medical assistance because of special circumstances, learn to dismiss fear-based stories, misinformation, and birthing myths; and they are helped to see birth as normal. They learn to trust that their bodies know how to bring their babies into the world in the calm and gentle way that Nature intended.
What to reject when you're expecting
10 procedures to think twice about during your pregnancy
Of course, the idea is not to reject all interventions. The course of childbirth is not something that anyone can completely control. In some situations, inducing labor or doing a C-section is the safest option. And complications are the exception, not the norm. But when they're not medically necessary, the interventions listed below are associated with poorer outcomes for moms and babies.
1. A C-section with a low-risk first birth
While C-sections are generally quite safe, "the safest method for both mom and baby is an uncomplicated vaginal birth," says Catherine Spong, M.D., chief of the pregnancy and perinatology branch at the Eunice Kennedy Shriver National Institute of Child Health and Human Development. The best way to reduce the number of C-sections overall is to decrease the number of them among low-risk women delivering their first child. That's because having an initial C-section "sets the stage for a woman's entire reproductive life," says Elliott Main, M.D., chairman of the department of obstetrics and gynecology at the California Pacific Medical Center and director of the California Maternal Quality Care Collaborative.
A C-section is major surgery. So it's no surprise that as rates for the procedure go down, so do the numbers for several complications, especially infection or pain at the site of the incision. Rare but potentially life-threatening complications include severe bleeding, blood clots, and bowel obstruction. A C-section can also complicate future pregnancies, increasing the risk of problems with the placenta, ectopic pregnancies (those that occur outside the uterus), or a rupture of the uterine scar. And the risks increase with each additional cesarean birth.
Babies born by C-section can be accidentally injured or cut during the procedure and are more likely to have breathing problems. They are also less likely to breast-feed, perhaps because of the challenges of starting in a post-surgical setting.
In some situations, such as when the mother is bleeding heavily or the baby's oxygen supply is compromised, surgical delivery is absolutely necessary. But women can maximize their chances of avoiding an unnecessary cesarean by finding a caregiver and birthing environment that supports vaginal birth.
When choosing a practitioner and hospital or birthing center, ask about C-section rates, particularly rates for low-risk women having their first child.
2. An automatic second C-section
Just because your first baby was delivered by C-section doesn't mean your second has to be, too. In fact, most women who have had a C-section with a "low-transverse incision" on the uterus are good candidates for a vaginal birth after cesarean (VBAC).About three quarters of such women who attempt a VBAC are able to deliver vaginally. Instead, if you had a C-section, find out whether your obstetrician and hospital are willing to try a VBAC. Let them know that you understand that you your baby will be monitored continuously during labor, and ask what the hospital would do if an emergency C-section became necessary.
3. An elective early delivery
A full-term pregnancy goes to at least 39 weeks, but over the last two decades many doctors have come to think they can deliver babies sooner than Mother Nature intended.
It turns out that carrying an infant to term has health benefits for both moms and babies. Research shows that babies born at 39 weeks or later have lower rates of breathing problems and are less likely to need neonatal intensive care. Full-term babies may also be less likely to be affected by cerebral palsy or jaundice, have fewer feeding problems, and have a higher rate of survival in their first year. Some research even suggests that full-term infants benefit from cognitive and learning advantages that continue through adolescence.
Perhaps because late preterm infants have more problems, mothers are more likely to suffer from postpartum depression. In addition, the procedures required to intentionally deliver a baby early-either an induced labor or a C-section-also carry a higher risk of complications than a full-term vaginal delivery.
4. Inducing labor without a medical reason
The percentage of births resulting from artificially induced labor more than doubled from 1990 to 2008.
women who go into labor naturally can usually spend the early portion at home, moving around as they feel most comfortable. An induced labor takes place in a hospital, where a woman will be hooked up to at least one intravenous line and an electronic fetal monitor. In addition, most hospitals don't allow eating or drinking once induction begins.
"An induced labor may also occur prior to a woman's body or baby being ready," Bingham says. "This means labor may take longer and that the woman is two to three times more likely to give birth surgically." In addition, induced labor frequently leads to further interventions-including epidurals for pain relief, deliveries with the use of forceps or vacuums, and C-sections-that carry risks of their own. For example, a 2011 study found that women who had labor induced without a recognized indication were 67 percent more likely to have a C-section, and their babies were 64 percent more likely to wind up in a neonatal intensive care unit, compared with women allowed to go into labor on their own.
Induction is justified when there's a medical reason, such as when a woman's membranes rupture, or her "water breaks," and labor doesn't start immediately, or when she's a week or more past her due date.
5. Ultrasounds after 24 weeks
Unless there is a specific condition your provider is tracking, you don't need an ultrasound after 24 weeks. Although some practitioners use ultrasounds after this point to estimate fetal size or due date, it's not a good idea because the margin of error increases significantly as the pregnancy progresses. And the procedure doesn't provide any additional information leading to better outcomes for either mother or baby, according to a 2009 review of eight trials involving 27,024 women. In fact, the practice was linked to a slightly higher C-section rate.
6. Continuous electronic fetal monitoring
Continuous monitoring, during which you're hooked up to monitor to record your baby's heartbeat throughout labor, restricts your movement and increases the chance of a cesarean and delivery with forceps. In addition, it doesn't reduce the risk of cerebral palsy or death for the baby, research suggests. The alternative is to monitor the baby at regular intervals using an electronic fetal monitor, a handheld ultrasound device, or a special stethoscope. Continuous electronic monitoring is recommended if you're given oxytocin to strengthen labor, you've had an epidural, or you're attempting a VBAC.
7. Early epidurals
An epidural places anesthesia directly into the spinal canal, so that you remain awake but don't feel pain below the administration point. But the longer an epidural is in place, the more medication accumulates and the less likely you will be able to feel to push. Epidurals can also slow labor. By delaying administration and using effective labor support strategies, you might be able to get past a tough spot and progress to the point you no longer feel it's needed. If you do have an epidural, ask the anesthesiologist about a lighter block. "Ideally, a woman should still be able to move her legs and lift her buttocks," Main says.
8. Routinely rupturing the amniotic membranes
Doctors sometimes rupture the amniotic membranes or "break the waters," supposedly to strengthen contractions and shorten labor. But the practice doesn't have that affect and may increase the risk of C-sections, according to a 2009 review of 15 trials involving 5,583 women. In addition, artificially rupturing amniotic membranes can cause rare but serious complications, including problems with the umbilical cord or the baby's heart rate.
9. Routine episiotomies
Practitioners sometimes make a surgical cut just before delivery to enlarge the opening of the vagina. That can be necessary in the case of a delivery that requires help from forceps or a vacuum, or if the baby is descending too quickly for the tissues to stretch. But in other cases, routine episiotomies don't help and are associated with several significant problems, including more damage to the perineal area and a longer healing period, according to a 2009 review involving more than 5,000 women.
10. Sending your newborn to the nursery
If your baby has a problem that needs special monitoring, then sending him or her to a nursery or even an intensive care unit is essential. But in other cases, allowing healthy infants and mothers to stay together promotes bonding and breast-feeding. Moms get just as much sleep, research shows, and they learn to respond to the feeding cues of their babies.
