Chairman's Corner
As this is my last article as the Chairman of the Board of the Chamber of Commerce, I would first like to thank everyone for their support this year. Without the superb Staff, Board and Leadership in the Community, we, as a Chamber, would not have been as successful this year. I am absolutely honored to have carried the designation of so many great leaders before me. Thank you to everyone!
The Chamber has had a GREAT year, and I know that Dave Burke, the Chairman of the Board for 2011, the Board of Directors and the wonderful Chamber Staff will all continue working towards making 2011 even better. We have finalized our planning for next year and starting to ramp up for our first event next year, the Annual Community Awards Dinner, which will be held at the Ruthe Jackson Center on January 20th. Please take the opportunity to nominate those individuals and organizations that make our Community as special as it is.
Lastly, be sure to make it to the Chamber's Annual Christmas Open House, Thursday December 9th from 5-8pm, presented by Prudential Lone Star Realtors' Pat Watson-Capps. It is always a great event. This year, the venue will be at Carlos and Carla's located at 1502 Houston Street. The event will be full of great Holiday Cheer!

Branding Iron Breakfast
The November Branding Iron Breakfast was held on November 18th at the Cracker Barrel located at 1251 N. Watson in Arlington. The next Branding Irons Breakfast will be held at 7:45 am at Rodriguez Bakery located at 1251 Clarice Street,
Grand Prairie.
Branding Irons is a committee of dedicated chamber members, responsible for being the welcoming committee for the Chamber and serves as Ambassadors to make all feel welcome. They serve as official greeters at Luncheons and Business After Hour mixers. They preside over all ribbon cuttings that are specifically scheduled to welcome new members to the Chamber.
