Designed to Hear God
The divine intention of God has always been to be our friend, yet there are many people who doubt that God speaks personally. Repeatedly, they ask, "Does a living God really speak, and can we know His voice?
The answer is... ABSOLUTELY.

Hi Friends,

We are living in an incredible season with so much of change taking place around us.  This is the opportune time for the sons of God to manifest and for us to demonstrate the heart of our King in the nations. I was delighted to be part of the recent Kingdom Deployment School held in Chambersburg, PA with so many different leaders present.  I was impacted by the message of spiritual fathers and sons. One of the leader's whom I met was Doug Allen, President of Vertical Turbine Specialists.  In the short time that I spent with him, I found that Doug is a kind hearted man who has a desire to see believers become proactive in the marketplace. I asked him to write an article as I believe that his message is vital to the body of Christ.

Everything that Can be Shaken
by Eugene Strite

Gene 100x100 I believe that the Church is entering into its greatest season it has ever known or experienced. Assessing this current season allows us to witness two Kingdoms that are in operation. One is the kingdom of light and the other is the kingdoms of this world. God is definitely shaking all things that can be shaken and His Kingdom is an everlasting Kingdom.

Job 38:13, "So that [light] may get hold of the corners of the earth and shake the wickedness [of night] out of it." AMP

We have prayed for years for the Kingdom of God to become established on the earth as it is in the heavens and very soon there will be a distinctive difference as to which kingdom you will be a part of.  This will be a choice that all of humanity must make.  The reality is that both saved and unsaved are normally accustomed to being comfortable in the worlds system. But, there's a decree from the Lord saying to the world "Let my people go" and to His people God is saying "Come out of her My people"

As God shakes everything, there will be a division in the church and many will separate themselves to follow the clarion call of the Lord while others still submit to a worldly system.  The economic downturn that has dawned upon humanity is nothing but the hand of the Lord dealing with divisive systems that has robbed people. The things that we are seeing is not the devils work but God wanting to establish His way of doing business on the earth. The church will have to change its operational modes and really start to do business the Lord's way. Not only will the church change, but the way we do business will need to radically transform since most businesses are set up to control the lives of many and manipulate people to their advantage.

The world economy is failing and falling apart. The schemes of men are being exposed, and those who appear to have the greatest economic minds are making serious errors. The days of get rich quick schemes without forthright integrity and labor are over.

Biblical scriptures such as, "the wealth of the sinner is laid up for the righteous" is becoming a testimony during this season (Prov 13:22). Never before in the history of mankind have so many people lost and are loosing exorbitant amounts of money. However, at the exact same time there is a group of people prepared that will receive an over abundance of wealth. Creativity will arise in God's people that will answer the needs of society and bring about global restoration. The church has in it the manifold wisdom of God which is not just for the church but for the world also (Eph 3:10).  The transfer of wealth is taking place now. The key objective is for the sons of God to get out of debt and double their income.  However, the money that we receive can longer be focused on ourselves, but it must be distributed to be a blessing to the nations.

We are living in a time of overflowing abundance; depending on which system one is operating in. Many people are asking "what do we invest in"? I believe that one of the best investments at this time is the Kingdom of God or in the things that God is concerned about. God makes it very clear in passages like,
James 1:27, "Pure and genuine religion in the sight of God the Father means caring for orphans and widows in their distress and refusing to let the world corrupt you." NLT

Another passage that really stands out that is on the heart of God is,

Matt 25:34-40, "Then the King will say to those on his right, 'Come, you who are blessed by my Father; take your inheritance, the kingdom prepared for you since the creation of the world. 35 For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited me in, 36 I needed clothes and you clothed me, I was sick and you looked after me, I was in prison and you came to visit me.' 37 "Then the righteous will answer him, 'Lord, when did we see you hungry and feed you, or thirsty and give you something to drink? 38 When did we see you a stranger and invite you in, or needing clothes and clothe you? 39 When did we see you sick or in prison and go to visit you?' 40 "The King will reply, 'I tell you the truth, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers of mine, you did for me." NIV

I believe that the reason we will see great wealth come to some is because of their willingness to be used to bless others and take care of needs. I would really like for you to take a look at the project in Cambodia for orphans on this newsletter and consider giving. Our administration does not keep any of the money given to this project. The government of Cambodia has asked the church to help them in their orphan problem and for this initial project they have given us land. Without our help many of these children will end up as sex slaves. At this time they have given us 72 children but there are many more.  Our target is $25,000 to build homes and provide food for them. Their main request is that we build self sustaining care houses that the children will have an opportunity to get involved in, by producing wealth that keeps the project going without continual support from the outside. These are some of the things that God is concerned about.  We believe that this is a great opportunity for you and I ask that you consider joining with us in dealing a defeat to poverty one step at a time.
Why Do We Work?
by Doug Allen

Doug Allen Many American's identity is tied to what they do for a living. This is why the leading question we use when we meet new people is "What do you do for a living?" Hopefully as Sons of God we have gotten beyond our identity being in what we do and understand that our identity is defined by who we are in Christ. That still leaves the question of "why do we work?"

Jeremiah 1:4-5 NIV "The word of the LORD came to me, saying,  "Before I formed you in the womb I knew you, before you were born I set you apart"

Each of us were known before we were in our mother's womb and each of us were created with specific gifts and callings and a specific destiny. Our occupation is the sphere in which our gifts, calling and destiny are brought to unison. Our occupation usually is either the place in which God is working out the maturity and perfection of our gifts or it is the place of our destiny.

Too many feel as though they must work to eat. I credit this to our understanding of God's conversation with Adam after the fall.

Genesis 3:17 NIV "To Adam he said, Because you listened to your wife and ate from the tree about which I commanded you, 'You must not eat of it,' Cursed is the ground because of you; through painful toil you will eat of it all the days of your life." Genesis 3:18 NIV "It will produce thorns and thistles for you, and you will eat the plants of the field." Genesis 3:19 NIV "By the sweat of your brow you will eat your food until you return to the ground, since from it you were taken; for dust you are and to dust you will return."

We fail to remember what Lamech prophesied about Noah a couple of chapters later.

Genesis 5:28 NIV  "When Lamech had lived 182 years, he had a son."  Genesis 5:29 NIV "He named him Noah and said, 'He will comfort us in the labor and painful toil of our hands caused by the ground the LORD has cursed'."

I also remind you of what God said concerning Noah's offering after the flood:

Genesis 8:21 NIV "The LORD smelled the pleasing aroma and said in his heart: "Never again will I curse the ground because of man, even though every inclination of his heart is evil from childhood. And never again will I destroy all living creatures, as I have done."

The truth is that in our occupations we are giving the opportunity to represent God and His goodness in our circumstances. It is my belief that God redeemed each of us, specifically because He wanted to have a presence in our circumstances. As the Ambassador of Christ, you carry the exact representation of God into every circumstance that you enter.

God was in Christ Jesus reconciling the world to Himself and we have been given this ministry of reconciliation. God is now in you wanting to reconcile those around you to Himself. So as you go- go with the confidence that you were selected before you were in your mother's womb to represent God in your particular circumstances.

Orphan Care

Sent Forth Ministries works very closely with an organization called HISG who is raising support for an urgent need of 72 abandoned and orphaned children that where found in the fields in Cambodia.  These children are currently being taken care of by 16 volunteers on a temporary facility.  Please see the pictures below and read more information and prayerfully consider helping us raise $28,000 to construct a permanent home for these children with safe drinking water and toilet facility.
