It's trendy to be part of the Apple corporation these days, but the affiliation with Steve Jobs may not be worth the work.

A former MAC technician has filed a class action lawsuit against Apple, complaining that Apple, Inc. is not paying overtime due to it's employees. 

Under Federal Law, overtime pay is required for non-managerial employees who do not fall into an "exempt" status category.  In this case, the attorneys allege that "The defendant knowingly had the plaintiff work off the clock and did not pay the plaintiff overtime."

Unfortunately, this is a common practice with many employers and we have seen that over time, a claim like this expands to multiple employees, including undocumented workers (who many employers think do not have legal rights).  Our firm has seen and taken similar cases such as the one filed above and have settled reasonably.
