T-shirt Contest
Last year we designed t-shirts for our teen moms that were a huge hit, not only with our girls, but many of our friends, family, and supporters began asking if they could buy shirts from us too!
This year we would like to do another t-shirt as a fundraiser but we need your help to come up with a design! The Teen Parents ministry is obviously a bit different than a typical youth group or campus ministry, so designing t-shirts can be a bit tricky. We don't want to glorify teen pregnancy, but we do want to celebrate the ideas of life and good parenting.
Here are some pictures of last year's shirt: You can send your slogan/design ideas to Renee Morales. We will pick a winning design to feature on our new shirts and the winner will receive dinner for 2 at Joe's Crab Shack and a free shirt!
(if you are not local and don't have a Joe's in your area, then you will receive a gift card to a restaurant in your area.)

Oh Baby!
We are in great need of more volunteers to help cuddle and care for the many sweet babies at our
weekly Teen Parent meeting. We meet on Monday nights from 6:30-8:30pm.
If you are at least 18 years old and would like to volunteer in our

We have lots of exciting plans for the next few months at TPOL but we are going to need a lot of help to make them happen! Exteme Makeover - Ministry Center Edition!
 In January the TPOL ministry center grew! The building we are in has two sides. We were using only one side until the business next to us moved out. The owners of the building have generously given us use of both sides now - rent free! Although our ministry center is now much bigger, with that comes quite a bit of fixing up to do. There are walls, ceilings, and floors that need repairing and a lot of painting to do. A group of men from 2nd Baptist Church have offered to help us with the renovations, but we will need a lot of manpower to help them with tearing things down, scraping, fixing, painting, ect. This would be a great service project for youth groups and small groups. We will also need help with getting the necessary materials for the renovations. If you would like to volunteer to help make-over our ministry center or if you would like to make a donation for materials and supplies, please contact the YFC Lubbock office at 806-535-5486.

One Life Retreat
 Teen Parents has recently received a number of memorial donations from the friends and family of our sweet mentor mom, Emily Mulkey, who passed away in January from cystic fibrosis. We decided we would like those donations to be used for something extra-special in honor of the extra-special woman who touched our lives so deeply.
After much prayer and thought, we have agreed that starting this summer we will hold an annual over-night retreat for our teen moms called ONE LIFE. One of the many things we learned from Emily was that you have ONE LIFE to live, and she lived hers to the fullest and used it to glorify God in everything she did. We are praying that this weekend retreat will encourage, inspire, and motivate our girls to follow Emily's example. We are given only ONE LIFE to live, but as Emily showed us, just ONE LIFE can impact thousands!
While this retreat is still several months away, please be in prayer as we begin the planning stages. Pray for the speakers, mentors, and most of all for the girls who will be there that their lives will be changed and they will go on to impact their worlds with their ONE LIFE!
