Who's YOUR Santa?
How often will we be reminded - just 23 days left until Christmas! While we could lament how quickly the year has gone, there is no time for indecision or delay. Sun Singer has one simple goal for the month of December - we want to share the warmth and celebration of the season and make your shopping fruitful, fun and expeditious as possible.

When you're looking for all those tempting treats for the wine, spirit and beer lovers in your life, you'll want to come and browse our shelves. We've always thought of Sun Singer as our own adult candy store, but never so much so as during the holiday season. We guarantee to brighten your eyes with our holiday treasures on each of you visits. During the next few weeks in the newsletter, we'll try our best to highlight those items sure to delight those on your gift giving lists, but it will be simply impossible to do justice to the selection available.

Come by and see us soon and often this season. You'll rarely fail to bump into someone you know. Remember that our Wine Bar Café is a great place to wind up and wind down your celebrations or just recharge. A cult classic, Orin Swift's The Prisoner is a wine that's snapped up every vintage by hoards of admirers.

This vintage has a deep ruby hue that is nearly opaque. The aromas elevate from the glass starting with black currant, dark blackberry, cherry, and cassis rounded out by subtle hints of seasoned French and American oak. The entry of the wine is massive and leads into a lush middle framed by bright acid and supple tannins. The finish is long, lingering and filled with soft

velvety tannins lasting for nearly thirty seconds.

WINTER BREWS
Say It Ain't Snow

While most of us look forward to the holidays, I haven't talked with many folks who are looking forward to the winter weather to come. That's why we've want to say it ain't so as all the new seasonal brews flood the store making Winter inevitable! Before Winter howls, you'll want to get your hands on some of these seasonal selections to give you hope for the Spring to come.

ROGUE YELLOW SNOW

Yellow Snow IPA was originally introduced for the 2000 Winter Olympics in Salt Lake City.

Yellow Snow is Rogue's tribute to winter sports everywhere. Pale golden in color with a hoppy fruity aroma. Big hop flavor up front complemented by medium body and hoppyness mid-pallet. Finishes with a characteristic lingering bitterness.

MAGIC HAT 'HOWL' WINTER
A deeply dark, deeply satisfying beer with a light-to-medium body that enters the bones and spreads its heat into the lost sanctums of the soul with a clamorous roar of roasted malts and a clean, dry finish that whispers softly of hops.

BELL'S CHRISTMAS ALE
In contrast to many other seasonals, Christmas Ale doesn't contain any spices: all of the dry, toasted notes & subtle toffee flavors come from the 100% Michigan-grown barley, custom malted by Briess Malting, while a blend of hops from Michigan & the Pacific Northwest lend earthy, herbal aromas. NEW BELGIUM 2 BELOW
Pull on your wool socks and crack open a 2° Below Ale. This tasty winter warmer started life as a small batch beer brewed for the Al Johnson Uphill Downhill a telemark ski race in Crested Butte, Colorado. The Uphill Downhill celebrates the exploits of Al Johnson, letter carrier extraordinaire, who delivered mail by ski in the late 1800 s. Dry hopping during fermentation creates a floral nose with a hint of pepper and spicy, subtle undertones. 2° Below provides a bright, hoppy palate and a cheery warm afterglow. ABV 6.6%

A chance meeting in Hollywood between photographer Tom Kelley and an aspiring but unknown actress led to a two-hour photo session on May 27, 1949 that made history and established Marilyn Monroe as the ultimate sex symbol of the 20th century.

Some of these images are now immortalized in The Marilyn Velvet Collection - we are now offering the 2004 Marilyn Velvet Collection, Pose 8 in the 1.5L format and gift box.

Each label of Velvet Collection wine is covered with a protective vinyl overlay that, when removed, reveals the complete, original portrait.
