Founded in 1958 in the town of Bjora, called Bursao in the 4th century B.C., this winery represent s what can be done with Garnacha. Through meticulous selection, work in the fields and attention in the winery, modern winemaking has made these the vest wines of the region known as "The Garnacha land of Spain".
Sun Singer offers complimentary tastings every Saturday afternoon between 12noon - 4:00pm. We invite you to join us each and every Saturday afternoon as we explore the many pleasures of the palate!

W. H. Smith Pinot Noir 2007
Sonoma Coast, California
Capturing the flavors of the region in a bottle is the yearly motivation for this Sonoma Coast Pinot Noir. The 2007 is a cuvee blended from four
vineyard sources that define the profile of coastal fruit, expressing concentration, bright acidity and that heavenly Pinot Noir silkiness.
Medium ruby core with a lighter rim. Ripe black cherry and wild strawberry fruit aromas all surrounded by cooler notes of wet earth and spicy cola. Very round on the entry into the mouth; smooth and silky. Hints of game surround tons of ripe strawberries.

The Thrill of the Chill:
Wine Serving Temperatures
It
has been stated that in America we drink white wines too cold and red
wines too warm. The temperature at which a wine is served is important,
and it is worth spending a few moments thinking about it. The old adage
of serving white wines chilled and red wines at room temperature is a
useful starting point, although not nearly detailed enough. A wine
served a little too cold or a little too warm can lose an awful lot of
character, particularly with respect to aroma.
"So
why is serving temperature so important?" you might ask. To smell a
wine, evaporation needs to occur. If the wine is too cold there will be
no evaporation and thus no polyphenols to smell. Since eighty percent of
taste is determined by what we smell, you could say that if you are
unable to smell the wine you truly cannot taste the wine. This is one of
the main reasons for swirling wine in the glass.

owned and operated by local shareholders, the brewer has become an
institution in Louisiana. Abita Beer -- the site details -- uses only
British and North American malted barley, German and American yeast
strains, Pacific Northwest hops and the pure artesian water of Abita
Springs. Abita contains no preservatives, additives or stabilizers. It's
good stuff.
