Sensational Saturday Tasting Break free Saturday afternoon for some fun and relaxation at Sun Singer - it's our specialty!
Tour de France! Saturday, July 17th
12Noon - 4:00 p.m.
Price: FREE!
In many respects, French wines have more of a regional than a
national identity, as evidenced by different grape varieties,
production methods and different classification systems in the various
regions. Quality levels and prices varies enormously, and some wines
are made for immediate consumption while other are meant for long-time
cellaring.
If there is one thing that most French wines have in common, it is
that most styles have developed as wines meant to accompany food, be it
a quick baguette, a simple bistro meal, or a full-fledged multi-course menu. Join us this Saturday to broaden your knowledge of the wines of France.
Sun Singer offers complimentary tastings every Saturday afternoon between 12noon - 4:00pm. We invite you to join us each and every Saturday afternoon as we explore the many pleasures of the palate!
Click here for a complete list of Saturday's tasting.
P.S. We offer a great lunch in our Wine Bar Cafe. Stop by for the fun, stop by to refresh and refuel. Join us for 'Lunch and a Taste' every Saturday at Sun Singer.

to wine. We'll cover some of the basic wine terminology and flavor
components of wine. We'll also talk about where wine comes from, how
it is made and the characteristics of the 7 basic wine grape varieties
as well as tasting the wines. Class is scheduled to last 2 hours. However, the
Question & Answer time at the end of the prepared class has been

From the Cellar: At the Wine Bar!
Sun Singer offers more than 30 wines by the glass every day of the week. Here's a sampling of this week's selections at the Sun Singer Wine Bar.

Special Feature TURNBULL Viognier 2006, Oakville, Napa Valley, California Successive picking passes allow for picking the fruit only once it
has achieved golden hues from light striking the fruit. These
sun-touched clusters exhibit fantastic tropical-fruit intensity, which
is preserved by gently pressing the whole cluster fruit once it arrives
at the winery, just after day-break. The result of this laborious
process is an ideal mix of fruit, floral notes, and acidity.
Honeysuckle, white blossom and brown spice aromas are followed by
rich Meyer lemon peel, apricot and vanilla flavors. Hints of minerality
accentuate the acidity that expands the complexities of this wine.

BEST BEERS:NEW BREWS for the Summer table
There's hardly a week that goes by without a new beer on the shelves at Sun Singer. Here's some good drinking for this week: GREAT DIVIDE BELGICA A
marriage of the best in American and Belgian brewing traditions.
Belgian pilsner malt, a generous amount of American and European hops
and a unique Belgian yeast strain combine to give Belgica big notes of
citrus and spice, creating a lively concoction perfect for spring in
the Rockies - or the Ardennes. 7.2% ABV
ANDERSON VALLEY SUMMER SOLSTICE This copper colored ale is smooth, malty, and lightly sweet, with a
delicate hint of spice for that oh-so-drinkable, extra velvety flavor.
The character is lighter in body than its cousin, our wildly popular Winter Solstice Seasonal Ale .
This is a silky, creamy dream, perfect as a warm weather beer. But why
call it Cerveza Crema? Two reasons: One, this beer has become a
favorite among many of our Hispanic friends, so it's named in their
honor. Two, it sounds cool, and cool is what you want when its hot.
Serve at 40 to 45 degrees Fahrenheit for the most optimal flavor and
enjoyment. ĄSalud!
LOST COAST TANGERINE WHEAT A refreshing citrus ale, Lost Coast Tangerine Wheat combines the Lost Coast Wheat with natural tangerine flavors. Brewed with a combination of wheat and crystal malts, and finished with Perle hops.
O'FALLON'S WHEACH...now available in cans! Imagine
a smooth, clean wheat beer with a touch of peach and you get the idea
behind O'Fallon Wheach, their peach wheat beer. Refreshing and crisp,
it's perfect for warm summer weather.
Style: Fruit Beer (American Wheat)
Alcohol: 5.1% ABV Bitterness: 7 IBUs Color: 3.2 SRM Grain: Pilsner, White Wheat,
Bonlander
Hops: Glacier

Silver Point New Zealand Great Summer drinking, bargain price!
Silver Point, produced by Coopers Creek wines, is crafted from a blend
of Marlborough (South Island) and Hawkes Bay/Gisborne (North Island)
fruit. As of late many wineries are defaulting on contracts with their
grape growers. The team at Coopers Creek has been able to help these
growers by purchasing their fruit. This is fruit that was destined for
several top label wines of New Zealand. Beginning with this fruit the
wine making team produces this line of wines that over delivers for the
price. These are definitely the most interesting and value driven wines
for $10 in the store. Get yours today!! For more details, click here.

| Black Star Farms Spirit of Apple
|
Apple brandy was the first spirit produced in America during
the Revolution. Following in the Colonial tradition, this small-batch,
hand-crafted apple brandy is distilled from a true cider blend. It is then barrel-aged for four years, using both
French and American oak, striving for a distinct fruit-driven style. At the precise time the distiller feels is optimum to
showcase the fruit from Leelanau
County's bounty, the
brandy is bottled - often a single barrel at a time.
Pale golden amber in color,
ours is well balanced with opulent, sweet-wood apple and caramel aromas and
mellowed, spicy warmth.
