Sun Singer Holiday News
Holidays Are Here! How often will we be reminded - just 23 days left until Christmas! While we could lament how quickly the year has gone, there is no time for indecision or delay. Sun Singer has one simple goal for the month of December - we want to share the warmth and celebration of the season and make your shopping fruitful, fun and expeditious as possible. When you're looking for all those tempting treats for the wine, spirit and beer lovers in your life, you'll want to come and browse our shelves. We've always thought of Sun Singer as our own adult candy store, but never so much so as during the holiday season. We guarantee to brighten your eyes with our holiday treasures on each of you visits. During the next few weeks in the newsletter, we'll try our best to highlight those items sure to delight those on your gift giving lists, but it will be simply impossible to do justice to the selection available. Come by and see us soon and often this season. You'll rarely fail to bump into someone you know. Remember that our Wine Bar Café is a great place to wind up and wind down your celebrations or just recharge. Enjoy all those foods and wines you've grown accustomed in the Café and then visit our Gourmet Deli and fill your pantry with treats for your holiday parties. We look forward to sharing all the best that the season has to offer.

Second Generation. New Direction. Rubissow Cabernet Sauvignon 2004
A very special cabernet for the holiday... This under-the-radar Napa artisan producer makes amazing wines in the classic style. Forget fruit-bomb trends and syrupy bombast, this is the real thing. Authentic Napa Cabernet at its best. This blend of 85% Cabernet Sauvignon, 13% Merlot, and 2% Cabernet Franc has lovely notes of violet, orchid, menthol, cassis, redcurrant, pencil lead and sweet, toasted oak in the bouquet. On the palate there is a powerful attack of up front fruit. Complex, rich flavors of plum, cedar, spice, cocoa, earth, blackberry. Very long, round finish.
Unfined, unfiltered and undeniably delicious from a sustainably farmed single vineyard at the Rubissow estate on Mt. Veeder in Napa Valley. 587 cases made.
2 ounce 9.75 5 ounce 19.75 Bottle 79.00
Now available at the Wine Bar. Come by to try this fabulous Cab! |

upon denser brooding flavors with spice, smoke, slight meatiness
and darker blackberry and black cherry flavors. Dark chocolate,
sandalwood, violets and a slight earthiness add layers to the rich
fruit.
Villa del Borgo Merlot '07, Friuli, Italy
A chewy, layered style with hints of berry fruit and mocha.
Medium bodied, pure and impressive for a Merlot.
