New This Week @ The Wine Bar New wines November 10th at the Sun Singer Wine Bar.
Always changing, always something new to try!
Santa
Rita 120 Sauvignon Blanc '09, Central Valley, Chile
Aromas and
flavors of citrus fruits such as grapefruit and lemon peel that lend a fresh
balance to the tropical fruit character and the typical herbal notes from the
2% of semillón in the blend. Vibrant, fresh, deep, and well-rounded on the
palate.
Pali
'Bluffs' Pinot Noir '08, Russian River, California
New Vintage! The
nose offer date, plum, marshmallow, and candied red and black fruit. Big, expressive cherry and raspberry
liqueur leap to the
front with rich, round tannins carrying through
to the long finish.
Santa
Rita Reserva Carménčre '08, Rapel Valley, Chile
Bouquet that
is dominated by fresh ripe black fruits with notes
of chocolate and vanilla. Medium-bodied with
tremendously silky tannins that lend a pleasing sensation of sweetness as it glides
over the palate to a beautifully long finish.
Seabiscuit Ranch 'Superfecta' Meritage '06, Mendocino County, California
A blend of Cabernet
Sauvignon: 65%; Merlot: 28%; Petit Verdot: 4%; and Cabernet Franc: 3%.
Concentrated ripe fruit aromas and flavors, with medium-to-robust body and soft
tannins ideal for drinking now.
DeLoach
Zinfandel '03, Russian River, California
Old-world style aromas of red cherries laced with
smoky characteristics. Brambly and raspberry notes linger, while intense layers
of cranberry and zin-berry mingle with soft hints of barrel spice.
Starla Cabernet
Sauvignon '06, Napa Valley, California
This is a real gem from our recent 6th Anniversary Gala. The muscular
structure of dusty tannins provide a mouth-coating framework for flavors of
brambly blackberry, cassis, plum skin and baking cocoa.Dense,
concentrated, and gripping.
