Celebrating July 4th
With a firecracker selection of all-American wines and beers, our celebration of Independence Day, Proud to Be American is the theme of this week's Sensational Saturday Wine Tasting. The focus of the red, white and brew selections will be on varietals at the foundationf of the American wine culture. Although we've thrown in a sparkler from New Mexico and returned to the Midwest for the beer.
If our gorgeous weather holds into Saturday, we'll move the tasting to the patio where we'll thrill the grill with Sherry's Beer Brats as our Saturday sandwich special. Couple a great holiday with a great brat, add our Loaded Baked Potato Salad or Southern Cole Slaw and you'll have a independent expression on a single plate worth parading for! Wear your stars and stripes and make plans to join us on Saturday.

This Saturday we will have a party on the patio. The tasting will be held out on the patio (weather permitting) featuring an all American lineup. Chef Sherry will be grilling up brats with whole wheat buns. Join us in celebrating Independence Day.

Castelli di Jesi Classico '06, Marche, Italy
The
ripe apple and pear nose give way to a honeysuckle palate full of fruit and
delightfully refreshing. A crisp, clean wine with lots of upfront fruit.
Pali 'Alphabets' Pinot Noir '07, Willamette Valley, Oregon
Concentrated aromas of
ripe cherry, plum and blackberry with hints of tobacco, black licorice and
cinnamon. Bright acidity accentuates the palate with dried red fruit flavors,
grilled mushroom and asian spice and finishing with firm tannins.
El Burro 'Kickass' Garnacha '07, Cariñena, Spain
Raspberry, cherry
fruit with earthy notes of spice, leather, vanilla and mocha on the
nose. Full bodied with fine, soft tannins, well balanced acidity with
