Dedicated Cyclists Wanted At the end of June, more than a thousand cyclists will spend a weekend doing what they love to do in order to raise awareness about (and funding for) Rhode Islanders with multiple sclerosis.
On June 26-27, 2010, the Fidelity Investments MS 150 will bring together a dedicated group of individuals, each of whom is committed to biking 150 miles over two days for the Rhode Island Chapter of the National Multiple Sclerosis Society. More of these dedicated cyclists are wanted for an event that raised $750,000 last year and is the

Chapter's largest fundraiser.
Fidelity Investments MS 150 will start in Narragansett and end the first night at Connecticut College in New London, Conn. On Sunday, June 27th, the cyclists will rise early and start the 75 miles back to Narragansett.
"This ride not only tests your strength and your character," said R.I. Chapter President Kathy Mechnig, "It challenges you in more ways than you can imagine. The knowledge that you are helping people who deal with MS on a daily basis is an amazing motivator."
After participants have put the pedal to the metal, they celebrate.

The New London finish line will feature a cookout, plenty of Harpoon Ale, live entertainment, and a full dinner. On the final day in Narragansett, with 150 miles under their belts, the bikers relax with a BBQ. In addition to title sponsor Fidelity Investments, additional sponsors include ABC6, Serono, Teva Neuroscience, Delta Dental, Nicholas Barrett & Associates, REI, Harpoon Brewery, and Blue Knights Motorcycle Group.
Since its inception 23 years ago, participation in MS 150 has grown as cyclists share their stories. Others want to be part of an experience that is not only unique but exciting and fun. Some of the participants cycle for a family member or loved one who has MS. Others have been touched by the disease in some way and feel inspired to help.
