Thank you for the overwhelming response to the special Thanksgiving message. Although I may not be able to personally respond to every email received, please know that I appreciated hearing from you.
We've now gotten through Black Friday and Cyber Monday. (Don't ask me how I managed NOT to get my shopping done on those days.) However, my lack of preparedness reminded me of a lady in spirit who took her Christmas shopping very seriously. During a message, she mentioned that her family found gifts wrapped and ready in a closet after she passed. When they confirmed that this was indeed true, her daughter became tearful at the memory. For when they opened those presents on Christmas morning, the memories of Christmas past were alive again.
Now there was no mention whether these gifts were expensive or not. Just the fact that this lovely lady had been thinking about each family member shortly before her passing, was a gift beyond measure. In this case, it was truly the thought that counted.
So in these times of economic uncertainty, we can really take to heart that, indeed, it is the thought that counts.
Thoughts are powerful - - and they easily reach those in spirit. Although the US Postal Service delivers letters to Santa at the North Pole (apparently), mail carriers may draw the line at heaven. Despite any physical delivery limitations, know that your thoughts of love, peace and joy don't need a stamp to reach those you love.
With this newsletter, I've included a poem called,
"When you think of those you love." The last time I shared it, responses came back from around the world and I even heard from a soldier serving overseas. Your loving thoughts will reach even farther than a half world away.
So think of those you love this season - - press the "send" button in your mind and know that they will receive your holiday wishes.
With thoughts of love, hope and healing in Spirit,
Hollister Rand
