A Refreshing Summer Drink! Cool Watermelon Slushes...
This is a popular non-alcholic drink that everyone can enjoy on
a hot day. Kids especially enjoy this sweetened fruit drink in which
you can add any of your favorite fruits.
Ingredients - 6 ice cubes (or frozen berries)
- 2 cups seeded watermelon
- 1 teaspoon honey
- 1/2 teaspoon lime juice
- a splash of 7 UP
Directions:
Place
the ice cubes or frozen berries into a
blender. Cover, and pulse until crushed. Add the watermelon (you can
try adding other fresh fruit to it as well eg. raspberries,
strawberries, peaches, etc) and blend
for about 1 minute, until slushy. Add the honey, lime and 7 UP and
blend for about 10
seconds.
