The RI DEM is providing MS4 permittees a no cost, easy to use, software application to manage the many aspects of the Phase II RIPDES Stormwater Program.  It is called ASIST.  Anyone responsible for an MS4 permit will be authorized to download this product and use the planning and stormwater asset management tools to document your program's activities.  John May, a representative from ASIST headquarters will provide an overview of the product and demonstrate how it has benefited over 1200 users across the country.  You will be able to sign up for a no cost download of the product and select a full day training session after the demo. 

ASIST Tools include:

• SWMPP developer - Create a SWMPP that can be tracked and reported to RIDEM
• Outfalls - Track location, inspections and maintenance
• Construction Projects - Inventories and characterization, site inspections, post construction runoff controls, plan reviews, complaints and enforcement actions
• Stormwater structures -Inventories, inspections, illicits, sampling events and work orders
• Public education, employee training, citizen calls, septic tanks, de-icing, trash/ recycling pickup routes and other operational modules are provided

Registration is open to MS4 permittee stakeholders who will use or recommend this product to manage their programs or report progress of SWMPP implementation.
