Dear Friends,
I fondly envision the following conversations taking place in parishioner's homes this Saturday night:
Spouse 1: "Oh my gosh honey we're having budget discussions tomorrow we've got to get the kids to church!" Spouse 2: The budget--O I just love this time of year. Nothing takes me out of my bleak mid-winter blahs like a lively conversation that focuses on how to match our money to our ministries. Child dressed in Green and Gold--head to toe: This will also be a great time to tell Bonnie how wrong she was about God blessing the "Cheese-Makers."
So on this cold January weekend--what's not to love about coming together on Sunday--to spend some time with God, spend some time with each other and begin to figure out what the future ministries of our congregation may be. The Future is now.
All the best, Bonnie
Copies of our proposed 2011 operating budget are available here and we'll also have some hard copies available as we gather between the 9:00 and 11:00 worship services. It looks like we will have about a $30,000 deficit between our financial gifts and what we say we'd like to accomplish. Please come with plenty of thoughts on how we address/eliminate or close this gap.

It is not too late to make a pledge of financial support to All Saints' for 2011!
| | Click here to make your 2011 pledge to All Saints'
Every day of every week the doors of our church, All Saints' Episcopal Church, are open. They are open to countless people for worship, for outreach, for our community, for all of us. We come through the doors for different reasons. Some of us have found special meaning and relevance in our services, some of us want our children to be a part of a living and growing church school, and some of us have found our connection to social outreach.
We count on you to continue to grow in grace, spirituality, and community involvement. All of the above numbers start with one. One person making a pledge of his/her time and money. Read more...
Pledge cards available in the back of the church or pledge online by clicking here. |
