Dear Friends,
Every day of every week the doors of our church, All Saints' Episcopal Church, are open. They are open to countless people for worship, for outreach, for our community, for all of us. We come through the doors for different reasons. Some of us have found special meaning and relevance in our services, some of us want our children to be a part of a living and growing church school, and some of us have found our connection to social outreach. At All Saints', we celebrate and embody the love of God for all people both inside and outside of our church community. You have seen it on Sunday mornings, on Tuesday nights, in our children, and on the faces of our friends and neighbors.

With so much diversity in the congregation and so many passions in our community, it may be hard to get a sense of all that we collectively do. Did you know that so far this year we have:
- Fed 14,286 neighbors on Tuesday Nights....and counting
- Fed 1,581 families at our monthly Saturday Market pantry...and counting
- Distributed 23,000 lbs of food each month to our neighbors in need ....and counting
- Taught 100+ children about the love of God....and counting
- Sent $49,746 to assist people in Haiti, Sudan, New Orleans, Southeast Mexico ....and counting
- Baptized 27 infants, children, and adults into our community of faith ... and counting
- Held services to remember the dead, bless backpacks, and stump the staff .... and counting

We count on you to continue to grow in grace, spirituality, and community involvement. All of the above numbers start with one. One person making a pledge of his/her time and money. You have made the pledge of time with your involvement and now we are asking for your financial pledge. One person, however, can't do it alone. We look to each other to share in celebrations and for comfort in tears. Now is the time to look to each other and be counted. Counted as people whose actions and passions provide material support for our shared community.
Pledge cards have been mailed to everyone on our snail mail list and are available in the back of the church. You can also pledge online by clicking here. I urge you to carefully discern what you can give. Then, please fill out the card and return it in the offertory or mail it to the church or pledge online by December 1, so that together we can plan for how we will grow and develop our shared mission at All Saints'.
Don't wait. Please make your pledge today.
Sincerely,
Jack Garland
