Dear BSB Families -
Session I is off to a great start! It is so nice to see all the familiar faces back at BSB after the summer break. There are also several new faces! Please join me in extending a warm welcome to those students that have recently joined us.

Just a reminder . . .BSB will be CLOSED for Labor Day Weekend.
There will be NO CLASSES on Saturday, September 4th or Monday, September 6th
We will resume our normal schedule on Tuesday September 7th.
also . . . BALLET 1, 2 & 3 PARENTS please join us for an
EXTREMELY IMPORTANT PARENT INFORMATION MEETING on Monday, September 13th
We ask that you make every effort to attend.
On Monday, September 13th we will be holding extremely important Information Meetings for the Ballet 1 & 2 parents.
Ballet 1 @ 5:30 p.m. As a new Ballet 1 student, your child is now part of BSB's upper-school. With that comes additional expectations and responsibilities. We look to you and your child to understand the expectations and to make a commitment to what we like to think of as a Parent - Teacher - Child triangle of responsibility. We ask that at least one parent for every Ballet 1 student attend the meeting.
Ballet 2 & 3 @ 6:30 p.m. Ballet 2 & 3 students did a great job this week showing how grown-up and responsible they are as they move up to the next level. Please join me and Miss Ina for your meeting at 6:30 p.m., following the Character Shoe Fitting, so that we can discuss important information regarding moving up to the next level.
Wishing you and yours a fun-filled, beautiful weekend.
See you next week! With a Leap! Miss Lisa

Team BSB is not only for those students that are competing this year. Even if you are not preparing for a competition piece, you can still participate in the team classes and attend the dance conventions!
Team BSB classes will help your student develop performance style, learn how to do leaps and turns, and develop group synchronization skills. We also encourage Team BSB students to attend the dance conventions we will be going to this year. These conventions are a great way to learn choreography from some of the best in the business, develop new skills and challenge yourself in a fun dynamic environment.
For more information about how to be a part of TEAM BSB please contact the office.
