Have an Itch to grow Rich in your Niche? Scratch Itch!
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ |
Greetings!
How often have we heard this phrase, "Grow Rich in your Niche"? The main idea is to prosper by delivering great value through the full expression of your gifts and talents. Also, it is to prosper by determining what your market segment is, and refusing to do anything else. A person could use his gift of having a fantastic memory (referring, of course, to Nishant Kasibhatla) to prosper by teaching others how they could do the same. An airline might decide to fly only short routes and keep prices low by being no-frills, catering to the cost-conscious market. An electronics goods manufacturer might decide to always be a market follower instead of being a market leader, adding just a twist to a market leader's heavy investment in R & D to its own products for a large consumer base. These are a few ways we could become Rich in our Niche. What's YOURS?
 Most of us would certainly like to prosper financially, socially, emotionally, physically and spiritually in our niche. While doing so, I think it is important for us to remember that it is only a very little bit that distinguishes us from others. So many people become so engrossed with trumpeting their niche areas to the world that they forget about developing the tap root of character in their lives. Talents leading to niche areas, although a very vital part of who we are, become mere economic engines when the rest of who we really ARE fall into disrepair. We need to remember, and commit to, developing who we are on the inside every day. When we are strong inwardly, we do not need to be so worried about establishing and maintaining our niche, fearing perhaps that we could be edged out of it. When we grow and develop our personhood, our niche will grow as well. So, do remember to work on that tap root, do what you enjoy doing, enlarge your niche, and look forward every day to enriching someone's life. Go well! |
