Bike to Work Week A Success!

This past week the Strathcona BIA partnered for with the Vancouver Area Cycling Coalition to sponsor two Commuter Stations for Bike to Work Week. On Wednesday June 4th about 250 commuters stopped at the first station located at Jim M. Koo Produce (Adanac & Clark Dr). SBIA members Out to Lunch and Sunrise Soya Foods provided refreshments and snacks.

On Wednesday the rain held off and the sun was shining which was not the case with the morning station Friday June 4th. Though it was a rainy commute over 400 cyclists stopped by the station to pick up samples of Trump's banana bread and enter for a final chance to win SBIA merchant prize packs.

From L-R: SBIA Administrator Gretchen Overholtzer, Executive Direcotr Cathy Kwan and Acting Executive Director Joji Kumagai at the Wednesday afternoon Commuter Station
