Greetings!

This time of year, many employers are rushing to fill jobs before Thanksgiving. But keeping up with recruiting can be a challenge. I call it the "Stack-o-Resumes" problem. And now we have a solution for you.

Try our new Job Posting Service. For a simple flat fee, we'll post your ad, plow through the giant stack of resumes and forward you the ones you want. We can even help you schedule interviews.

We have the staff, the tools and the processes to quickly sort through 500 resumes to pick out the 5 great ones. We can do in days what might take you weeks to do on your own. Email me for details...or you could just bring all those resumes with you to Thanksgiving dinner.

Vice President, Human Resources, WETA, Arlington VA

Computer-GlassesAs VP, Human Resources, you will serve the needs of approximately 200 employees, report to the SVP/CFO, and have a staff of three: Employment Manager, Benefits Manager, and HR Associate, also collaborating closely with General Counsel. Your advice will not be filtered through someone else; we will look to you to tell us what we need to know, and you will have a seat at the table when issues are decided.

WETA needs someone well versed in the compliance and technical aspects of HR and understands how to be an internal resource and counselor as well. Half your time will be problem solving with 12 senior managers to support departmental efforts. The rest will be driving big initiatives in benefits plan design, balancing internal equity considerations with market realities of recruiting and fair compensation as our workforce changes. As the media industry shifts into the digital age, we need someone who is fair and just to lead us wisely. More ...

HR Manager: We are looking for an experienced HR generalist to join our family-owned and operated company. You will put processes in place that are key to our future growth. We have created a niche in high security cleaning which has enabled us to grow significantly, and we anticipate future growth in the 15-20% range per year. You will help us create the systems to achieve this growth.

Reporting directly to our President and supported by an outsourced VP of HR, you will manage an HR Administrator and a Security Specialist/Recruiter. Your team will support the needs of approximately 400 employees in more than 35 sites as well as 12 administrative staff in our headquarters. With employees in two unions with four different agreements, we have four corresponding benefits plans. We have part-time employees, full-time employees with security clearance, and finally, our administrative team. More ...

HR Administrator: Administer the employee benefits program for our 400 employees, conduct employee orientations and exit interviews, and support the HR Manager. You will work closely with our outsourced VP of HR and our Security Specialist/Recruiter.

An important part of your job will be answering employee questions about benefits and payroll. You'll maintain the HRIS, ensuring timely, accurate information for our employees. Your service orientation and sharp attention to detail will inspire confidence.

Your biggest challenge will be keeping up with the volume of transactions. The keys to your success will be: meticulous attention to detail administering HR policies and programs; "hands-on" involvement with employee and labor relations; ability to build trusting relationships; and ability to represent the department in a professional and positive manner. In return, you will have an opportunity to expand your skills and knowledge while developing as an HR professional. Your work is both essential and critical to the smooth running of our organization, and your flexibility and resourcefulness are key components required for success. More ...

We are a performance-driven, team-centric environment, and we succeed by creating happy clients that become repeat clients. Work in close partnership with management and executive teams, who will expect you to quickly gain an understanding of the direct marketing industry, the print industry, and our core values and business goals. They will look to you to provide guidance, resources, and strategy to drive business results, support our growth, and safeguard our culture of results-driven, service-oriented high performers.
