 Welcome back to YICG!!! A special greeting to our new parents. It was so gratifying to meet so many new people this past Saturday for our Open House. Please look at our Open House photos on Facebook.
Do join the group - it is one more way of staying connected. Your ideas are very important so feel free to tell us what you would like to see. We hope to send out a weekly bulletin to post events and topics. We are also transitioning to Gmail and a new email system so if there are any problems, let us know!!
 
 Upcoming this Saturday:
1. First day of most classes!!! Dance classes start in a few weeks. Tabla starts this Saturday!  Register and tell anyone who may be interested. Bollywood classes schedules will be available on Sat.
 
2. Hindi Conversation - Beginner class at 3:15 p.m.
 
3. Please come early to resolve class timing conflicts!!
 
 4. Youth Book club this Sat - NEW !! From Rohith Rokkam- On September 25th at 2 pm, we will be discussing the book "The Wish" by Gail Carson Levine. I am very sorry for the short notice. If you are not able to complete the book or find a copy, it's OK, but please come and participate. The next meeting will be on October 9th. We will be discussing the book "Schooled" by Gordan Korman.
 
5. Adult Book Club - September 25th 2.00 p.m
The book for discussion is "Blind Eye" by James B Stewart
October 9th - The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo by Stieg Larsson and Reg Keeland
November 13th - The gift of an Ordinary day - a mother's memoir by Katrina Kenison

6. 18 Leadership Lessons from the Gita - Vedic 5 for High School students. Check out the outline!
 
7. Adult Leadership Forum forming - Please do respond if you are interested in joining this newly forming group to share experiences with our High School and Middle school youth. Sign up sheets will be available. 
 
8. BrainPower Workshops - special Leadership, Creativity and Personal Development (LCPD) for middle schoolers for 3 sessions on October 9, 16, 23. Gr 4-8.
Thinking for the 21st century - the life skills of        Creativity, Communication and Collaboration. Overcome mental blocks to use the full potential of your mind through innovative games & exercises.
