Greetings!
Hey, I've missed you guys. The last few weeks have been amazingly busy for me with glass work. I'm in no way complaining, just hard to make myself sit down and write.
Today I got an email from little Phoebe's Grandfather with updates on her situation. In case you missed the original letter I sent regarding Phoebe there is a link you can click on at the bottom with her picture.
When I first wrote about Phoebe I didn't go into much detail about my relationship with her family, because it seemed self serving or something at the time. I wanted the focus to be on this precious two year old who needed our prayer.
When I was growing up the name Zig Ziglar was very familiar in our house and I knew he was connected with my Grandfather somehow through work. Little did I know that as a young adult I would grow to love this man of faith and consider him a mentor in all areas of life.
Phoebe is the Greatgrandaughter of my friend and Mentor Zig Ziglar. Zig is now retired from the speaking circuit but a few years back I met his daughter Julie who was traveling with him and helping to present his wonderful message on stage.
Phoebe is Julie and her husband Jim's Granddaughter. What an amazing journey in faith for this beautiful family. Here is a link to Amey Fair's Blog. Amey is Phoebe's Mom. I encourage you to read this truly inspiring message of faith and hope in a time of crisis.
Like Jones says in the quote above, we are all either in, coming out of, or headed for a crisis. It's part of being human. What determines the effect on your life is where and on whom you put your trust.
For I know the plans I have for you," declares the LORD, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.
Jeremiah 29:11
I love you guys, Don
