Greetings!
Her name is Phoebe and she is two years old. Phoebe is the Great granddaughter and Granddaughter of some very special people in my life. Last week Phoebe underwent surgery to remove a cancerous brain tumor and is now facing months if not years of chemotherapy. The Dr.'s are not painting an optimistic picture.
Her Grandmother, Julie, contacted me a few days ago asking me to pray for her precious Phoebe. I know the power of prayer. I know that many of you who receive this letter believe in the power of prayer, but even if you're not sure about the prayer thing, I need for you to do something.
Take a few minutes and lift little Phoebe and her family up to God in a prayer. If you belong to a group of prayer warriors please ask them to pray also.
Some of you know my story of answered prayer. I know God is still in the healing business. I've learned over the years to trust that God is not the problem, he is the answer. We will never know in this lifetime why certain things happen the way they do. Our task is to trust that God's word is true no matter what the circumstances may be.
