The  Vast Majority of Detox Supplements are a Waste of Money

Greetings!

The Internet and daily mail are full of advertisements for supplements, which rarely if ever deliver the promised benefits.  Almost daily, I speak to people who have tried a wide variety of supplements without noticeable benefit.  How often have you purchased a supplement, which failed to deliver the desired changes?

Why is this so? People are taking supplements without really understanding the underlying problem.  Those who require detoxification almost invariably have multiple issues.  Persons suffering from metal and chemical toxicity have mitochondrial dysfunction, impaired energy metabolism, immune dysfunction, inflammatory conditions, chronic fatigue, multiple infections such as Candida and Lyme disease.  They may also have vitamin and mineral deficiencies, cardiovascular disease, high blood pressure, impaired kidney function, sleep disturbances, brain fog and multiple hormone abnormalities.  How can one possibly make a rational choice without some type of testing? Besides, do you really think that a single substance like zeolite, chlorella, citrus pectin, or bentonite clay is going to address all or even a significant portion of the above issues?

Many of these detox supplements cannot be absorbed from the G.I. tract and are consequently ineffective in persons with low glutathione levels. EDTA is effective for lead, but ineffective for Mercury and may produce a neurotoxic complex with Mercury in some individuals.  Many detox supplements contain inadequate amounts of ingredients, rendering them ineffective, a practice called pixie dusting.  This produces fat profits for the seller, but no benefits for the consumer.  In some instances, there is no scientific or physiological basis or even credible evidence of efficacy for the implied benefit. This is true of Japanese foot pads and liquid zeolite.

In our experience, the vast majority of persons suffering from metal toxicity manifest a phenomenon known as trace mineral derangement.  This is a phenomenon associated with an inability of the body to detoxify itself associated with depletion of intracellular glutathione.  It is also invariably associated with a variety of mineral and vitamin imbalances and deficiencies, as well as organ malfunctions, especially of the thyroid, adrenals, and liver. Trace mineral derangement can only be observed by performing a hair analysis.

If you're really serious about detoxification, take a close look at our website www.scienceformulas.com. We don't just sell you a supplement, we provide expert testing, guidance and assistance.
