Dear Directors, The Prostate Awareness and Cancer Education (PACE) Race Series was founded in partnership with the Prostate Conditions Education Council and sanofi-aventis in 2002. The event was designed to increase the national awareness of prostate cancer.
With events spanning from East Coast to the West Coast, the National PACE Race Series continues to grow. All told, the PACE Race Series reached more than 40 million people last year alone.

The 2009 PACE Race National Series has been progressing wonderfully this year! With the addition of the RunDenver Series, The Fathers Day 10K/5K in Michigan, The 7th Annual Prostate Cancer Survivor's and Awareness Walk in St.Louis, and The F.A.S.T PACE Race in Cumming, GA, the series has made great strides for 2009.
We were also honored to have PACE Race Spokesman and marathon legends, Benji Durden join us at the Fathers Day 10K/5K in Birmingham, MI, and Bill Rodgers join us at PACE Race for Prostate Cancer 10K/5K in Kirkland, WA. Their testimonies and passion for running and prostate cancer is helping the PACE Race Series pave the way for an unforgettable and impactful 2010 series.

2010- New Beginning!
|
As the 2009 series is coming to an end, preparation for 2010 is underway. To help me make next year bigger and better, I would like to schedule phone conferences with all the local directors to discuss how we as a team can find news ways to grow participation numbers and how we can reach out to the community and connect with on a whole new level. I will be emailing each of you individually to schedule a call.
For 2010, we are working on new, exciting projects that will help increase awareness of the PACE Race Series on a national level. We are excited for new changes, new prospects and new beginnings.
Please send me your official 2010 race date and official name as soon as possible!
Thank you all for your support and hard work!
