Summer at Beltane Ranch!
Gardens are exploding at Beltane! Finally....Its been a cooler than usual summer, so we are just now enjoying tons of peaches, nectarines, raspberries, blackberries, heirloom tomatoes, squash, zucchini and more. The grounds are bright and lush with flowers, the pastures and hillsides are golden and the oaks shading the house are just starting to drop a few leaves. If you are in the area, come by, we've got some peaches for you!

For Sonoma's legendary annual Harvest Wine Auction (see if you can find Alexa, Lauren & Alex in the poster at right) we have partnered with friends Estate Restaurant & Dane Cellars to offer a really fun and unique auction lot: A private Winemaker Dinner for 12 with Dane Cellars Winemaker Bart Hansen & Beltane's wine team at fabulous Estate restaurant - to be served Estate's guaranteed delicious take on Italian with house-cured meats and Estate-prepared Beltane Ranch Produce. And a case of Dane Cellars and a case of Beltane to take home! The Sonoma Valley Harvest Wine Auction provides vital funding to
local charities serving children, vineyard and hospitality workers and

Repeat Champions.... 
First Place two years in a row at the Sonoma Fourth-of-July Parade! This year it was Old Yeller with an iced-down super-sized bottle of Beltane Ranch Sauvignon Blanc in the bed, that actually poured "wine" into a water trough on a trailer behind, filled with Beltane Ranch family, friends & dogs......it was not to be missed! Wine & Vineyard Update
 Beltane Ranch's Inaugural Sauvignon Blanc has proven a success - We're really excited about increasing our production for the 2010 harvest. This year's crop looks great - a little bit lighter and with a longer growing season, which can maker for more flavorful fruit. For a full update on the wine, check out our Wine Club Update - and join our Wine club to stay up to date. At our first ever release party we tasted & toasted with our winemaker, vineyard manager, label artist and 175 Beltane friends & wine club members. We're looking forward to the 2010 release!

Lastly.....The first in a new series of Historical Photos from Beltane!
This photo of the ranch house was taken in the early 30's when our family acquired the property to operate as a turkey ranch.
The house was built in 1892 and it's redwood board construction and wraparound porches have helped protect it and allowed it to stand the tests of time. The oaks pictured are the same tall and healthy oaks that shade the house today.
