This Year's Upcoming Harvest...
 Its
been a beautiful but cool summer so far at Beltane. The combination of late rains in the spring and a foggier summer than usual are making for a longer growing season and later harvest. We expect to harvest the Sauvignon Blanc in mid or late September. The vines are yielding a slightly lighter crop than usual which can make for more concentrated flavor in the fruit. The success of our inaugural vintage has encouraged us to increase the production of our private label wine, so for 2010 we will be vinting several more tons than 2009. Harvest update coming next month!
Release Party Report!
Our first ever release party, June 5th, 2010, was a smashing success. We tasted & toasted with our winemaker, vineyard manager, label artist and 175 Beltane friends and wine club members - all while enjoying Beltane Ranch grass-fed beef sliders, Beltane-grown raspberries & veggies, and oysters BBQ'd by our local Glen Ellen Fire Department!
