Rare Earth Elements in Canada Canada has 1.1 billion pounds of rare earths locked in black shale deposits (the Alberta Black Shale Project) worth an estimated $206 billion. Temporary Foreign Worker Program The Federal Government has announced plans to change the Temporary Foreign Worker Program to be more responsive to skills and labour shortages: "...Employers will have less red tape and temporary foreign workers will benefit from enhanced protections." 2012 Trade Show Wrap-Up
The Fort Nelson Chamber of Commerce's Annual Trade Show was a resounding success! We had over 4000 attendees and almost 100 exhibitors at Fort Nelson's largest event, which would not have been possible without the support of our volunteers and sponsors.
