Praise and Prayer:
*Praise God He clearly closed the door for the Jan. 23rd retreat and has given us wisdom to postpone. In the beginnning of January, our family was feeling shaken as, ironically, we were preparing for our "Unshakeable Families" retreat.
We felt attacked on all sides and decided that our family (still healing from Daren's accident) needed to be a priority. With that reality and a lofty goal of # of attendees, we knew we would not break even with our second retreat. As a board, we felt it best to regroup and pray for the longer term vision of being relational, possibly smaller and more simple retreats in private homes and camp settings where heart change will happen. Would you please join us in prayer as we pray for God to direct our paths as we pursue His heart for this ministry?
*Over the next 2 months, Daren will be researching locations and dates to have our next retreat. Please pray for open hearts for home owners and camp property directors (to possibly rent in the summer).
*We will be preparing a marketing plan. Please pray for clarity and unity with our board.
*Please pray for continued healing for our family.
Prayer team meets Tuesdays from 6 pm-7 pm (MST) in our home. Please join us in prayer during this time.
