GRAYLITE® II glass (right) is an almost-black glass that retains the aesthetic appearance of original Graylite glass (left) while providing enhanced solar control performance.

- In a one-inch insulating glass unit with clear glass
- Solar heat-gain coefficient (SHGC) of 0.21, 36 percent greater than the original composition.
- Retains the aesthetic appearance of the original glass, but has slightly lower visible light transmittance (VLT) of 8 percent.
