Regis Class of '67 in Florence...is the wine glass half empty or half full?

Greetings!

As of this writing, we are just at the halfway point of the number of Regians (' 67), their spouses and adult family members we are able to accommodate for this trip to Florence, Italy, May 23-30, 2011. We have 10 travelers of a possible 20 so we are writing to encourage you to act now. Call one or two of your classmates and make a deal with them to take advantage of this unique opportunity to experience one of the most beautiful, enjoyable, and fascinating cultural destinations in the world under near ideal conditions:

  • With people you know as both companions and guides.

  • With people you can be sure are intelligent, interested, and open.

  •  With an itinerary designed and refined by years of experience to make the most of a week's visit to a place that just can't be "done" in the two or three days as allowed by most commercial tours (Venice, Florence, Rome).

  • With the flexibility to use free time for wine tastings, shopping, photography, leisurely strolls and people watching; as well as the option to extend you are stay a few days, another week, or even two in this small region of endless possibilities. Chianti country is just next door, and just beyond  are a dozen places that stir the imagination: Siena, San Gimignano, Cardona, Assisi, Montalcino, Montepulciano, Orvieto and so many more, each unique, each a treasure to discover.(For ideas consult the Renaissance Company's Hill towns of Tuscany and Umbria itinerary on their website

We will be accepting deposits until  the trip fills, but do not put off making a decision until after the opportunity to choose this special opportunity passes you by.  If you have questions feel free to call either of us or come to Jug night if you can. We'll both be there.

Best wishes,

Frank Ambrosio and Kieran Quinn
