Bring your goodies for the Easter Feast at St.
Andrew's! Any donations of baked goods would be a welcome
dessert for this Easter Feast. Hopefully you've seen this advertised recently
and have brought them to church this morning. If not, you can still deliver
them to the church kitchen, c/o Daphne Vernon, today (April 4) by 1:00 PM. They
will be picked up Monday and served at the Easter dinner on Tuesday. Thank you
in advance for your loving donations from your table to St. Andrew's.
Please note that
the Church Office is closed all day tomorrow, April 5. Happy Easter!
The Guild of the Incarnation holds its
monthly meeting this Tuesday, April 6 in Farlander Hall at 11:00 AM with a

presented by David Pieronnet following lunch. All are welcome to attend.
Join us for another
fabulous night at the theater - a benefit performance for the Living Room at the 6th St.
Playhouse to support homeless women and children. This year, the play is
Tartuffe - the classic comedy by Moliere. Wednesday April 7: Reception at
7:30, Performance at 8:00. Proceeds benefit the Living Room. Contact the Living
Room (707-579-0142) for tickets.
Roger Crosby, RIP. Roger

March 28. His funeral mass will be this Friday, April 9, 2:00 p.m. here at
the church, with burial at Santa Rosa Memorial Park, and reception following
the burial at Farlander Hall. Donations in his memory may be sent to

Friday, April 9, 6 pm, here at the church. Approximately 1/2 hour in length.
Harold will be playing pieces based on German Chorales by J. S. Bach, Felix
Mendelssohn, Ernst Pepping, Max Drischner, and Jan Bender. Designed to feature

Small Groups at Incarnation
Golf Group
The Courses are dry, the weather is good, and it's
time to Tee it up again. Our first round of the year is scheduled for Saturday
morning, April 10, 2010, at Northwood Golf Course, next to the Russian River,
in Guerneville. Northwood has been honored as one of the three best 9 hole
courses in the U.S. All levels of players are welcome. We don't have to
have great swings, and our only obligation is to not hold up play. Keeping
score is optional and up to
you. Having a good time is mandatory. We don't have Tee times scheduled
yet, but we plan on teeing off about or just before 8:00. If you
interested in playing, please email Mitch at smallgroups@incarnation-sr.org
or call (707) 703-4162!
Poetry Group
Poetry Group meets the 2nd and 4th Mondays of each
month (3-4:30) in Room 3. "Poetry is the language of devotion in prayer, chant
and song. Reading poetry creates clarity, deepens and expands spiritual
inquiry, and cultivates wisdom, compassion, self-confidence, patience and love."
(Robert McDowell). This group explores a wide range of poets and their poetry.
Through readings and discussions we discover the richness of this art and how
it can be used as a spiritual practice in our lives.
Bible Study Group
We
offer an open Bible Study Group in a local home. We meet every other Tuesday (6:30-8
PM). Currently we are exploring the Lectionary through study, reflection,
discussion and conversation. All are welcome. If you would like to attend our
next gathering (April 13), please email Mitch at smallgroups@incarnation-sr.org or call (707) 703-4162.
Prayer of the Heart Group
Our
March meeting is April 14, 7-8:30 PM, in the Library. All are welcome who want
to practice the Prayer of the Heart (the Jesus Prayer) in a group. If you have
any questions, or for more information, please contact Lisa Jang, (707)
527-9549.
