The second chapter of Genesis tells the story of when the Lord God gave Adam the power to name things. From the literal perspective, we can see Adam naming things like horses, pigs, parrots and bears. From a metaphysical perspective, however, we realize that Adam was "naming" every aspect of his life. You and I have the same power that Adam had. Every moment, through the power of our thoughts about things, we are naming our experience of life. What you think about your life and the people in it is your way of "naming" your world. Here's the clincher: Scripture tells us that whatever Adam named anything to be, it was. This is to say that whatever you decide something is, that's what it will be. This is a great week to look closely at how you're naming your experience of life. What do the activities of your life mean? Do they support you and your dreams and intentions? They will, if you decide that's what they're there for. Do they oppress you with doubt and fear or make you feel guilty or ashamed? They will, if you decide that's what they're there for. Join me this week in choosing to name everything in your world, regardless of any lingering, negative judgments, as working expressly on your behalf and on behalf of the whole human family to bring forth the highest good of everyone, everywhere.

SACRED SERVER
OF THE MONTH
Do you know John Irvin?
John first came to the Beautification Team in 2008. He quickly became an integral part of the team, not only because of the service he was providing but also the consciousness.
John always looked for more ways to serve within the team and soon became one of its leaders. Now he is the Coordinator of the Beautification Team and doing an amazing job.
John's enthusiasm is contagious and he is inspiring more and more people to help Unity on the Bay in expressing its beauty not only on the inside, but outside.
He is currently setting up a program so that people can come to work on our building not only on one Saturday a month but throughout the week. His desire to provide opportunities for people to serve and the consciousness by which he is led, make John Irvin our Sacred Server of the Month.
