These words of Unity minister J. Sig Paulson have been helpful to me since I first heard them some twenty years ago. Often in our search for approval from others, we allow their opinions of us to become more important than our opinion of our self.
There is a higher way to live. When we are true to the integrity of our own soul, we are living from our spiritual identity in God and not the identity given to us by this world. When we move our attention from our heads into our hearts, we access an intelligent, powerful, confident energy that knows exactly who we are and how we need to be in life. Living in this space, we are not concerned with how others see or react to us. We live with profound independence and freedom - the very qualities of our country that we celebrate this time of year.
As you pledge allegiance to our flag this Fourth of July, join me this week in affirming yet another pledge of allegiance to the spiritual truth of who you are:

Do you know Javier Molina?
Javier Molina is a Prayer Emissary and dedicated Truth student currently finishing Unity's Spiritual Enrichment Program. As a member of the Prosperity Task Force he has been actively supporting the Unexpected Income Program.
Javi, as he is lovingly nicknamed, has been at Unity on the Bay for over five years, is an active leader, puts Unity teachings into practice and is the forever smiling face doing Sunday announcements during the Spanish services full of charisma. During this transitional period, Javier's consciousness has served as a support to the Spanish services in a very special way.
For his dedication and much more, Javier Molina is our Sacred Server of the Month for July.
