ETIENNE LABBE & JOHN PAUL ROBINSON
May 29 - June 27

Opening: Saturday, May 29, 3 - 6 pm

Etienne Labbé - 143 Km/h                         Etienne Labbé - mer interieure

Etienne Labbé - the sweetest of summer days

How many hours have you sat gazing out the window of a car as the landscape flies by without really "looking"? Using a low shutter speed to blur the patterns and colours of his subjects, Etienne Labbé further transforms these moments using digital manipulation. His strength lies in turning what is often dismissed as unappealing and banal into enigmatic and wonderfully captivating moments that appear to have stopped, just for an instant, before flying by at full speed again.

A catalogue of Etienne Labbé's 18 new works is available for purchase at the Gallery.

                                                                   John Paul Robinson

In conjunction with the point de fuite launch, the Gallery is also pleased to present new works by respected glass artist John Paul Robinson.

Etienne Labbé and John Paul Robinson will be present at the opening and will both be saying a few brief words about their work at 5PM.

Please join us on May 29th from 3 - 6 PM for the Opening reception at the Gallery.
