Everything you need to know in 1 class! Great review for 2nd timers or for planned cesarean section parents. Includes Baby Basics & Introduction to Car Seat Safety.
Location: One weekend a month class is at Boca Raton Community Hospital's auditorium in the education building opposite the maternity entrance (800 Meadows Road, Boca Raton, FL 33486). Single day class is at Women's Healthcare Associates ( 6853 SW 18th Street, Suite 301, Boca Raton, FL 33433).
Bring: Water to drink, healthy snacks, sweater/sweat shirt. Wear comfortable clothes so may try to sit on birthing balls. A 45-minute break is given for you to go out and get lunch. For details and to register you must call Diane @561.302.1919

When I think of February, I think of Valentine's Day ~ Hearts ~ and Love! and Contests!!!
Starting with Valentine's Day (FYI! February 14th for those of you who pretend to forget! 13 days away!)...yes flowers and chocolate are always nice treats, but how about sending your loved one for an hour or day of pampering??? Last week, my P ignoli Cookie won it's first contest! (I'll try not to sound like a proud parent!) Now, some of you know what this cookie is all about! New! Words of Wisdom Passed On ~
Helpful Hints from One Parent (or Parent-to-be) to Another
So many of you say "I wish someone would have told me not to get that, or to buy this, that doesn't work well, or this is the best, or don't waste your money on that OR don't do or say this in labor!!!"!
So...for those of you who wish to share your wisdom or learn from others' experiences...here we go! (PLEASE FEEL FREE TO EMAIL ME WITH YOUR "WORDS OF WISDOM"!!!)
This month, Baby Jagger's Mom says:
- The Kimono-type outfit was recommended as being "good for the umbilical cord". However she found that the 2-piece outfit was extremely difficult when changing diapers and that her son needed to wear socks with this outfit. A NO!
- The converter-type outfit (the dress) was good that it had hand mittens/covers available and that you only had to lift up the dress to change his diapers at night. However, it was bad in that in order to take it on and off was hard to get over his head. A NO!
- The pj's with feet/hands that snapped up were really easy to change diapers without exposing his chest. The only bad was that some of the more expensive outfits had way too many snaps!!! Look for ones with fewer snaps!!! Overall a YES!
- Best outfits: Carters, anything zipping up or down!
- Best bath tub: Primo bath tub. Bought the one with the hammock and was NOT pleased. The hammock kept Jagger out of the water and made him cold. Primo has a plastic built-in bump that holds baby in place. Primo
 is the way to go!

Since 1989, Diane has been a Registered Nurse specializing in assisting women through childbirth. In 2003, she began her own company. As a Personal Childbirth Trainer, she has enjoyed guiding couples through the birth process 200 times! In addition, she has helped 4 other nurses start their own businesses teaching the PCT Childbirth Workshop in Washington, D.C. and Florida!
When she isn't working (when is this???) she can usually be found spinning at a gym or sipping green iced-tea at Starbucks!
