Day Out with Thomas is an exciting way for children and grown-ups to enter the world of Thomas & Friends. The event provides an opportunity for kids to ride on board a train led by Thomas & have their pictures taken with Sir Topham Hatt, the controller of Thomas' railway.
Each of the events offers visitors a fresh and unique experience that distinguishes host railroads. Different forms of entertainment - from petting zoos, miniature golf, bounce houses to face-painting and magic shows - make each Day Out with Thomas event special.
In addition, every location comprises of Thomas-themed activities including stamps, Island of Sodor temporary tattoos, hands-on arts and crafts, and a Thomas storytelling and video viewing area. To celebrate Thomas' 65th birthday, fans will be invited to check out highlights of special moments and events over the years and also make birthday cards for Thomas.

The engines are busy preparing for the Island of Sodor's Lantern Festival when a big storm rolls into town, tearing down the decorations and making the light burning bright in the lighthouse break. How will the boats carrying the visitors make it to the Island in time for the Festival? There is lots of cleaning and fixing to be done for Thomas, Percy and other Island of Sodor friends. Through discovery, friendship and cooperation, Thomas finds a way to save the day - and the festival goes on as scheduled.
This 90-minute live musical adventure is based on the stories of the famed Thomas & Friends brand that has been enjoyed by millions of children in the popular television series, home video programs, books and a complete line of preschool toys. The inaugural North American tour of Thomas & Friends Live! On Stage offers Thomas enthusiasts and their families an exciting and fresh new way to experience the brand.
