DEMA Commends Denver Divers and Other Industry Businesses for Stepping up to the Platform in an Effort to Help Those in Need  
 
In a January 15th DEMAIL we shared ways industry businesses could assist in Haiti Relief Efforts.  This included information about an effort by Denver Divers to assist local doctors make their way to Haiti to aid in disaster relief efforts.  We're happy to report that the doctors were able to reach their destination and serve those in need.

Member Update will be held at the Hyatt Regency O'Hare at 1:00 pm in Rooms Heathrow A & B
 
Join DEMA Executive Director, Tom Ingram, on Friday, February 19 for a 2010 DEMA Program Update.  The update will be presented along with a Retail Marketing Seminar just prior to the opening of Our World Underwater.  The Update begins at 1:00pm and ends in time for the OWU reception.  It will take place in Room Heathrow A & B at the Hyatt Regency O'Hare.
 
All DEMA Members are invited to attend this program, which will outline the 2010 DEMA promotions to help grow the diving industry.  Non-Members are welcome.
 
Ingram, qualified for more than 15 years through the Florida Small Business Development Network as a Certified Business Analyst, will follow the update with a seminar entitled:
 
"Promotions: Why 'Hit and Run Advertising' Doesn't Work."
 
Attendees will receive a publication that describes the need for creating a "promotional mix" that helps generate sales, and describes the promotional options available to them as DEMA Members.
