HAPPY NEW YEAR!
Each year at our annual Winter Solstice gathering SOULutions announces a little jingle that becomes the theme for kicking off the new year. Last years theme was  "Let it begin from within in 2010!"

This years kick off the new year theme is:
"Connecting Earth and Heaven in 2011."

 While the jingle is fun and perhaps a bit corny, there is a depth to it that I invite you to ponder....and what's more, act upon this year. Read about it in the feature article below.
Connecting Earth and Heaven in 2011 - The What and How!

What's meant here by connecting earth and heaven? Most would agree, in the simplest of terms that earth refers to the material world and heaven, to spirit. Does that work for you?

If this makes since to you, let's go one step further and see that earth and the material world are concerns of the ego, with it's primary objective being the survival of the separate - individual self. Heaven or spirit is closer to our heart and to love, which is more concerned with the whole -  the whole of humanity, the cosmos and the conscious evolution of Life.

A question just now hit me while writing the last sentence: "What's a practical, earthly definition of love in action, that can make the abstract and sometimes romantic feeling of love practical and easy to know how to act on?"
