Join us for prayer over students this Thursday at Railroad Park |
"But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth" ~ Acts 1:8
We would like to invite you to join us for a prayer gathering this Thursday, Sept. 6, 2012, from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m. at Railroad Park, 1600 1st Avenue South, Birmingham, AL, 35233. We will be gathering to pray for the lives of this generation. One of our ministry partners, Susan Shepherd, who works with "Moms in Prayer International," will be joining us. We will pray together collectively and then disperse into groups to pray individually for the lost, students across the state, schools, faculty/staff, leadership of the boards of education, and city leaders.
Parents, pastors, youth leaders, community/business leaders, anyone who would like to come, please join us as we unite together as the Body of Christ in prayer for our local schools to see the hope of Christ in EVERY student.
We will meet under the covered pavilion for a time of worship at 11 a.m. and then begin our prayer time throughout the park. Please park on 18th Street and 1st Avenue. For more information, call 205.871.8886. We hope you'll join us! |
Help support First Priority by participating in our Race to the Cross |
We would like to invite you to participate in our Race to the Cross 5K and One Mile Fun Run at Christ Church United Methodist on Saturday, Sept. 22, 2012. Please help support our ministry by participating in our race. The vision of First Priority is to see the hope of Christ in every student. Statistics show that 85% of all people who do not pray to receive Christ before the age of 18... never will. That is why we unite the body of Christ with a plan of action to influence the school with the gospel.
We hope you will plan now to take part and we encourage your support of this vital outreach. You will be a blessing to us and the important work we do to impact students' lives. If you have any questions or need more information, please call 205.871.8886 or e-mail info@gofirstpriority.com. We look forward to seeing you at the Run!
