Help support First Priority by participating in our Race to the Cross |
We would like to invite you to participate in our Race to the Cross 5K and One Mile Fun Run at Christ Church United Methodist on Saturday, Sept. 22, 2012. Please help support our ministry by participating in our race. The vision of First Priority is to see the hope of Christ in every student. Statistics show that 85% of all people who do not pray to receive Christ before the age of 18... never will. That is why we unite the body of Christ with a plan of action to influence the school with the gospel.
This will be a fun-filled day for everyone! All 5K Run participants will receive a FREE T-shirt (guaranteed for all pre-registered 5K Run participants). There will also be door prizes and refreshments for all participants and awards for overall and age-group winners and Fun Run participants. Entry fees are as follows: 5K Run - Early Registration: $25 (register by Friday, September 21); Race Day 5K Run Entry: $30; and One Mile Fun Run/Walk: $10.
CONTEST! We are also excited to inform you about our Race to the Cross First Priority Club Fundraising Contest. We are inviting clubs to participate by raising money for our fundraiser. The First Priority club that raises the most money will win the contest and receive a special music performance and a guest speaker at its See You at the Pole (SYATP) gathering on the morning of SYATP, Wednesday, September 26. The deadline for fundraising is Friday, September 21, at 12 p.m. The winner will be announced at the Race. For more info and to enter the contest, please click here.
We hope you will plan now to take part and we encourage your support of this vital outreach. You will be a blessing to us and the important work we do to impact students' lives. If you have any questions or need more information, please call 205.871.8886 or e-mail info@gofirstpriority.com. We look forward to seeing you at the Run!
